Jack Pearl, Pearl Automotive is a family-owned company that began with the acquisition of Honda World of Peoria, Illinois, in Pearl Automotive has provided quality new and pre-owned automobiles to Central Illinois for nearly 35 years. Jack Pearl founded this world-class organization on the principle of offering only the most reliable cars and helping consumers maintain their investments through top-of-the-line parts and service. Present Day Jack s son, Gary Pearl, now oversees operations of the Pearl Companies, including Pearl Automotive. Pearl Automotive has expanded greatly from its humble beginnings of one dealership to now providing luxury vehicles to Central Illinois residents at two of our three locations. Gary has picked up right where his father left off and has continued to provide not only unmatched cars, parts, and services but also a top notch customer experience. Ranging from the comfort of our customer lounges to our café dining offers, customers can be sure they, and their cars, are taken care of in Pearl Automotive s hands. 5 PEORIA AREA Peoria is the third largest metropolitan area in Illinois (only behind Chicago and East St. Louis) as well as one of the oldest settlements in Illinois. Rich with history and conveniently located on the Illinois River, Peoria is home to an eclectic mix of arts, dining, shopping, and entertainment. The Peoria Riverfront The riverfront offers a variety of attractions for the whole family. The Riverfront Museum, the only downstate museum to be Smithsonian Institution affiliated, offers a wide collection of historical, scientific, artistic, and even interactive exhibits. Music lovers can enjoy live music at The Landing throughout the summer months, located next to the river. Boat enthusiasts can even dock to enjoy the bands. The Peoria Riverfront is also home to one of few authentic paddlewheel-driven boats, the Spirit of Peoria. Adventurers can take overnight cruises to visit St. Louis, Starved Rock State Park, and other destinations departing from the docks of Peoria. Downtown Peoria Downtown Peoria features nightlife and entertainment that rivals our northern neighbor, Chicago. Broadway plays regularly make stops in Peoria at the Peoria Civic Center and comedians, speakers, and orchestras are no stranger to the Civic Center stage. Musical groups and entertainers find a home in our riverside town as well with acts ranging from Billboard artists to the Blue Man Group and Cirque Du Soleil. Sports enthusiasts will find themselves busy with Peoria s hometown teams and sporting events. Peoria is home to March Madness for high school state basketball finals and the Civic Center is home to Peoria s own minor league hockey team, the Peoria Rivermen. Enjoy some sunshine and catch a Peoria Chiefs game, a Cardinals minor league affiliate, at Dozer Park right in the heart of downtown. Surrounding Peoria Area The surrounding Peoria area is lush with entertainment, places to see, and activities for everyone. Wine lovers can visit one of three area wineries.
