2 President s Message Fellow NC-CCIM Chapter Members: As our business climate changes, we all are working harder and working smarter to adapt and succeed in what seems to be the new normal. What has not changed is the importance of networking and utilizing your designation to increase your business productivity. How can you increase your networking and productivity? Plan to attend the October 5 th & 6 th Free Continuing Education and State Conference. This event is just around the corner and I encourage you to sign up now if you have not already. We have an outstanding line up of speakers, including Jeffrey Rogers, the President and COO of Integra Realty Resources, which is the largest Commercial Appraisal company in the United States. I want to extend a huge thank you to Steve Rich and Carolyn Kellogg for their energy in putting together a very interactive and informative conference. This is a not to be missed educational and networking event (Register prior to 9/30 for best price). I would like to thank all of the NC CCIM Chapter volunteers, staff, and board members for their commitment, time and enthusiasm to making your chapter what it is today and planning ahead for the continued success of your chapter. I would also ask that you give special attention to the Power Partner Companies listed in this newsletter that are a critical part of making possible the great programs and events hosted each year by the NC CCIM Chapter. I trust that you will keep these companies in mind if there is the opportunity to do business together. If there is anything myself or the board of directors can do to improve your membership in the NC CCIM, I would like to hear from you. The board will be meeting for our strategic planning on November 3 rd, so please reach out with any feedback/questions or input. Jane.Doggett@highwoods.com or One piece of housekeeping: I would like to ask each of you to go to home page and click on update my information and check your contact information to make sure that we have your most current information! I wish you all the best and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to serve as your NC CCIM Chapter President for Thank you, Jane
