No. 67) Shri Vijay Bakaya : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) how much money has been spent so far in the last 5 years for the management of the Dal Lake ; (b) what progress has been registered in improvement of water quality, checking of siltation and relocation of house boats and reclamation of the water body? (Minister for Housing). REGARDING PMGSY 38. U/S(C. Q. No. 444) Syed Asgar Ali : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) how many roads under PMGSY have been taken-up in District Kishtwar ; (b) please give the latest status report of each road with all details including reasons for non-completion of these roads even after expiry of the timeframe? REGARDING ZEO S (Minister for R&B). 39. U/S(C. Q. No. 353) Shri Subash Chander Gupta : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) whether it is a fact that five Zonal Education Offices in Kathua District i. e. Sallan, Marheen, Bhadu, Lakhanpur, Mahanpur

3 ( 13 ) are functioning with only one sanctioned post of Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) ; (b) if the answer is in affirmative, when the other required posts will be sanctioned for smooth functioning of these offices? (Minister for Education). REGARDING BOSE 40. U/S(C. Q. No. 310) Shri Naresh Kumar Gupta : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) whether Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education is functioning in the State properly ; (b) whether standard is being mentioned at per with CBSE ; (c) what is the strength of employees, both Gazetted, Non- Gazetted daily rated and on need basis with annual expenditure on account of pay-fuel-repairs etc. ; (d) what is the total number of students who appeared in (10+2) during both in winter and summer zones with percentage of result in all streams ; (e) whether there is any demand of establishing independent BOSE for Jammu Region in view of heavy load and large number of students from each region ; (f) how many sub-officess are functioning with location and name of the Tehsil, District? (Minister for Education).

4 ( 14 ) REGARDING B.ED. COLLEGE 41. U/S(C. Q. No. 160) Shri Nurboo Gialchan : Will the Government be pleased to state whether the Government has any proposal to open a B. Ed. College in Leh ; if so, when? (Minister for Higher Education). REGARDING PASS PERCENTAGE 42. U/S(C. Q. No. 415) Shri Mohammad Ashraf Mir : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) the pass percentage of tenth class students of Government Schools of District Srinagar during past three years, school-wise, details ; (b) what is the pass percentage of 10th class students of Private Institutions of Srinagar District during the aforesaid period ; (c) school-wise, teaching staff strength in such Government Schools where pass percentage has been found less by 10% in District Srinagar during past two years and what action has been taken against the concerned Principals by the Government ; if not, why not? REGARDING FLOODS (Minister for Education). 43. U/S(C. Q. No. 371) Master Noor Hussain : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) is it a fact that during rainy season 2012 last year, the land of the poor inhabitants was washed away by the flood ;

5 ( 15 ) (b) if so, what steps have been taken by the Flood Control Department so far to save the land from flood ; and (c) year-wise, details of cases from March, 2010 to March, 2012 where crates are given/provided especially, District Samba/Jammu? (Minister for Irrigation and Flood Control). REGARDING DRUG POLICY 44. U/S(C. Q. No. 123) Shri Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) whether a Drug Policy in the State is highly necessitated to provide quality drugs on fair prices to the poor people of the State ; (b) whether it is a fact that a Drug Policy was formulated in the State by the Health Department which was also circulated amongst the Legislators for their views ; (c) if so, what progress has been achieved in this regard till date, details may please be furnished on the Table of the House? (Minister for Health). REGARDING HERBS 45. U/S(C. Q. No. 276) Shri Sham Lal Bhagat : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) whether it is a fact that the State of Jammu and Kashmir has a vast treasure of most valuable herbs, aromatic and medicinal plants, if so ;

6 ( 16 ) (i) (ii) (iii) please indicate the initiative taken so far to exploit this resource to generate wealth and employment avenues ; whether the J&K State Medicinal Plant Board has been set up ; if yes, is it properly functioning ; year-wise, details of funds received for the promotion of Medicinal Plants and the work done in this regard w.e.f till date? (Minister for Agriculture). REGARDING FOREIGNERS 46. U/S(C. Q. No. 463) Shri Ravinder Kumar Sharma : Will the Government be pleased to state : (a) is it a fact that in recent years large number of foreigners especially Burmese and Bangladeshis have come in this State ; (b) if so, the number of Burmese and other foreigners staying at different places and persons/bodies assisting their stay and working for their rehabilitation ; (c) whether several ultras have also infiltrated in the State along with Pakistani wives and children ; if so, their number, also the status of the foreign ladies, also that of the children ; (d) the amount spent for providing facilities especially that of electric connections, drinking water etc. to these foreigners staying at Narwal Bala, Karyani Talab and other places in the out skirts of Jammu City?
