(ii) Letter No. SSB/Secy/Sel/2019/15S-61 dated received from the J&K Services Selection Board, Jammu. Government Order No. 6~ -FD of 2019 Dated: Whereas, the Finance Department vide communication No. ET/Estt/154/2012 dated referred 74 posts (OM=21, =25, =10, =12, O=02 & ALC=04) of Sub-Inspector (Divisional Cadre Jammu) of the J&K Excise and (Subordinate) Service to J&K Services Selection Board for selection of suitable candidates; and 2. Whereas, the Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board vide communication No. SSB/Secy/Sel/2019/ dated forwarded a select list of 74 candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (Divisional Cadre Jammu) advertised vide item No. 254 (05 of 2015) indicating therein that recommendation in favour of 18 Sub-Inspectors has been with held for want of requisite documents; and 3. As recommended by the J&K Services Selection Board, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of the following candidates as Sub-Inspector.. The appointment of the above said candidates shall be subject to fulfillment of the following conditions» A) The appointment including pay, service etc shall be governed in terms of J&K Special Recruitment Rules, 2015 [SRO-202 dated ]. B) In case of failure of said appointees to join within the stipulated period, his/her appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio without any further notice. C) The appointees shall be allowed to join only on production of the following certificates in original:- 1. Academic/Technical Qualification Certificates. 2. Matriculation/Date of Birth Certificate. 3. Health Certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer. 4. Permanent Resident Certificate issued by the Competent Authority. 5. Certificates from the District Industries Centre(DIC) and District Employment & Counseling Centre to the effect that no loan under the self-employment scheme has been taken by the appointee. 6. Reserved Category Certificate (in case of candidates belonging to reserved category). D) The appointment of the candidates as Sub-Inspector shall further be subject to the following conditions:- i. The appointees shall give an undertaking duly attested by the First Class Magistrate in the shape of an affidavit to the effect that in case adverse report about his/her character and antecedents is received ~from Inspector General of Police, (CID), J&K to whom a reference shall be made by the concerned HoD, the candidate shall have no right to claim his/her appointment as Sub Inspector and his/her appointment as such shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio. ii. iii. If on verification, the certificate(s) produced by the appointee are proved to be fake or forged, the appointment shall be cancelled abinitio. The salary of the appointee shall not be drawn and disbursed to him/her unless the satisfactory reports in respect of (i) and (ii) above are received in his/her favour. Page 40[5

The appointee shall be on probation for a period of 05 years and shall undergo and qualify the Departmental Examination (Excise and Taxation Part-l Examination) within the period of probation. v.
