The meeting was participated by 31 (12 Female) CMC members, representatives from camp based committees (Food Management Committee-FMC) and Women Development Group-WDG). Shelter repair and maintenance issue was discussed by LWF with Camp Management Committee (CMC) and land owners/hosts on 14th August. Camp level Inter-Agency (IA) Meeting was attended by 32 (11 Females) representatives from CMC, Health Department, SCI, IRC, CDN, FMC, WDG, Youth Development Group-YDG) and LWF on 24th August. Services provided by the agencies were reviewed, camp issues were discussed and upcoming plan for September was shared during the meeting. Workshop on CCCM and roles of Incentive Workers was conducted by LWF and participated by 7 incentive workers (4 IW, 2 WDG and 2 CMC) on 25 th August. RSG Transport & Communication Minister, Health Department, CMC, Land owner and LWF conducted meeting in the camp on 28 th August. The meeting solved the problems of land issues and all agreed to resume the repair and maintenance work immediately. Population and activity dash boards were updated for the month. 5 (2 girls) babies were born and population dash board were updated. Child Safe Guarding Training was conducted on 20 th and 21 st August, aiming to participate in Child Friendly Space (CFS) by SCI and participated by 30 (7 girls) members. SCI provided regular assistance for 711 (319 girls) students of 3 TLSs and 455 (194 girls) people of aged group of the 2 youth centres. NFE student kits were distributed by LWF for 127 (53 F) children aged 11-17yrs on 13 th August. Two NFE centres with 6 (3 women) NFE Facilitators supported by LWF is operating regularly and a total of participants are 127 (53 Women) people from IDPs and host community children. In the IA meeting, participants requested to provide more furniture for CMC office. LWF shared it s next month plan on assisting CMC meeting, IA meeting, Social group meeting, population update, handling complaints and repairing damaged complaint box. CMC requested to provide school furniture for NFE class and primary schools recently renovated and constructed by LWF and UNICEF. LWF/UNHCR/IDP Camp Monthly SITREP/Aug 2015 Page 1

2 Food and nutrition Agency CDN, WFP Health Services Agencies IRC, MMA NFIs LWF/UNHCR Shelter Agency RSG, UNHCR, LWF WASH Agency - SCI Community Service and protection Agency LWF SCI conducted cooking training for Mother Group on 4 th Aug and participated by 40 women. On 14 th August, CDN and FMC discussed on food items after Cyclone Komen hit in the town. Rice and Blended food for a month was distributed to 395 households (1,790 Population) by CDN on 26 th August. However, there are 2,064 people of 410 HHs in the camp. Albendazole for 250 children (<5 years old) was provided by Health Department on 25 th August. IRC is providing two kinds of health activities; basic health care services and maternal and child care. IRC provides 3 volunteers regularly for health care services in the camp. Health services are regularly provided by IRC and MMA as below: Agency Day Time IRC Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 am 2 pm MMA Thursday and Friday 800 (293 women/girls) received health services during the month. NFI kits were distributed by LWF/UNHCR on 12 th Aug to the 59 HHs affected by Cyclone Komen. RSG Development Minister and Transportation & Communication Minister paid a camp visit on 1 st August to observe the damaged caused by Cyclone Komen. Cyclone Komen affected families data collection was made by UNHCR on 4 th August. UNHCR and CMC discussed on Cyclone Komen affected shelters on 5 th August. LWF verified with CMC and IDPs about the Komen cyclone affected households data by LWF on 6 th August. LWF resumed repair/maintenance works for 52 shelters (416 rooms) on 29 th August. WASH activities monitoring on water points and toilets was completed on 2 nd, 8 th and 28 th August. Among 120 latrines, 24 are functioning and 96 need to be repaired. Health education training was conducted and participated by 120 women on 7 th August. 118 children were awarded with one star certificate (cleanest step 1) by SCI on 20th and 26th August. Tailoring training for 10 women in the camp provided by LWF aims in order to earn income. UNHCR did monitoring on 10 women tailors on 13 th August. Newspapers and journals are regularly delivered every Monday in the camp and increasing information access as well as the knowledge of the camp dwellers. Number of readers increased up to 119 (32 Women) in August. IDPs requested not to cut down food rations in future.. CMC office floor and posts need to be repaired. 59 rooms damaged by Cyclone Komen will be repaired by LWF in September. SCI supports 2 kinds of WASH activities in the camp; PHP and PHE. There is disagreement between CMC and landowner to renovate the damaged latrines. In the IA meeting, LWF shared upcoming plan on- LWF will support People with Special Need-PSN for 10 (4 women) disabled persons in September. 3 Fire safety and DRR Agency LWF 10 (8 women) volunteers were trained for fire safety and management in August. 5 fire safety points were installed in the camp in August. 3 fire safety points need reconstructed and 2 fire points need some equipment replenished. 2 fire safety information Bill boards damaged by Komen Cyclone. CMC meeting was held on 17 th August and participated by 33 (21 Female) members from CMC members, social groups and other camp based committees. Inter-agency meeting was held on 26 th August and attended by 26 (15 Female) representatives from CMC, SCI, LWF, ACF, Oxfam and social groups. Service, monitoring and current community issues were discussed during the meeting. Workshop on CCCM and Roles of Incentive Worker (IW) was conducted by LWF and participated by 6 persons (2 IW, 2 WDG and 2 CMC) on 28 th August. Population and activity dash board for August were updated in the camp. NFE class for 11-17yrs aged children was operating regularly in August. Details of students (6-10yrs) formal primary education who join nearby government school are as below: Grade Primary Students Boys Girls Rice and blended food were distributed to 70 households with 415 populations on 25th August. Peer group monthly meeting was conducted by SCI Nutrition team in August. CMC and IDPs raised issues regarding inadequate water, need for road improvement and electricity during the delegation visit and Inter-Agency meeting. CMC requested to provide food items for 2 remaining families. Planning on distribution of rice and blended food (WSB) for children (under 5 years old) in September. Health education training was participated by 40 women on 19 th and 31 st August. Tailoring training for 5 women provided by LWF aimed to earn income for IDP women. UNHCR monitored 5 women Tailors on 13 th August. Newspapers and journals are regularly supported to community library every Monday by LWF in the camp aiming to increasing information access as well as the knowledge of the camp dwellers. Regular monitoring on fire safety volunteers and fire points. 2 fire safety billboards were damaged by Cyclone Komen. 640 feet road will be upgraded by LWF during September-October. CMC requested to provide 72 latrines. CMC requested to provide drinking water. During IA meeting, the following plans for September were shared: LWF will support to PwSN (5 disabled persons/2 women), conduct recreational activity, conduct livelihood assessment, and regular social group meeting in Sept. RSG Development Committee Department, CMC and Women Development Group-WDG had a meeting on 19 th August to discuss the camp situation. Inter-Agency meeting was held on 21 st August and participated by 32 (13 Female) representatives from Development Committee Department, CDN, Oxfam, LWF, MRCS, ACF, CMC, and WDG. Workshop on CCCM and Roles of Incentive Worker was conducted by LWF on 28th August. Seven participants (3 IW, 2 WDG and 2 CMC members) attended the workshop. Indonesian Ambassador to Myanmar made a camp visit on 29 th August and provided 1,500,000 MMK for emergency affairs support to CMC/IDPs. Population and activity dash board were updated in the camp. During IA meeting, the following plans for September were discussed: Furniture to be supported for CMC office by LWF. CMC requested to provide CMC office roofing support as it is damaged. Education Agency LWF, UNICEF NFE student kits for 11 (8 Girls) students of age group of 11-17yrs were provided on 6 th August. NFE activity monitoring was done on 18 th August. There are 22 middle school students and 4 high school students in the camp. Details of primary school students (6-10yrs) in camps are as below: Grade Primary Students Male Female IDPs requested to provide student kits for middle and high school students also. 7 Food &nutrition Agency CDN, WFP Health Agency MRCS, MM, MHAA and MOH NFIs: LWF, UNHCR Shelter Agency - RSG, UNHCR, LWF WASH Agency Oxfam Food monitoring was done on 4 th August. 151 families with 586 populations were distributed monthly food ration (Rice and blended food) on 26 th August. Rice and Blended food (WSB) distributed by CDN in accordance with WFP list in August and items (beans, salt and oil) were not included in this month. Nutrition monitoring was done by SCI was on 9 th August. Population update assessment by Government Nurse Association group was done on 11 th August. MHAA with CMC and WDG had a meeting for nutrition issue on 13 th Aug and 10 women participated. None to report There are 22 longhouses with 151 families in the camp. 89 damaged rooms were repaired on 3 rd August. LWF had shelter and TLS monitoring on 18 th August. WASH activity was regularly provided in August. Hygiene kits were provided for 151 families for the month of July on 3 rd August. Hygiene kits for 151 families were provided by Oxfam on 27 th August for the month. Health education meeting facilitated by Oxfam and participated by 13 women on 5 th and 12 th August. WASH activity was monitored by Oxfam on 17 th and 26 th August. 600 feet drainage is being supported by DRC and the works started on 27 th August. In the IA meeting, participants discussed on cluster issues CMC mentioned that some children are feeling ill/flu related symptoms. They go to see Dr Chan Thar Clinic in Min Gyan Quarter Sittwe downtown. CMC mentioned that some health service provider did not open clinic regularly in August. CMC requested to provide CMC office, road and pond in the camp. In the IA meeting, participants discussed on Oxfam shared to organize camp cleaning campaign in September. Oxfam will repair 2 damaged toilets in September. DRC informed to provide women bathing room in September. LWF/UNHCR/IDP Camp Monthly SITREP/Aug 2015 Page 7

8 Protection and Community Service Agency SCI, ACF, LWF and DRC Fire safety/drr Agency - LWF DRC provided 1 IPA to 1 family in which there is one disable person. LWF supplied newspapers and magazines to increase the knowledge and information to the community library. 96 (57 Women) reader in August in the camp. ACF provides regular health education activity every Monday in the camp. Billboards were damaged by the Cyclone Komen. There was regular monitoring on fire kits/points by the trained fire volunteers..in the IA meeting, participants discussed on PwSN assistance for disable 6 (3 women) will be provided by LWF in September. Recreational activity will be provided by LWF in September. Livelihood assessment will be done by LWF during September-October. Social group meeting will be in September. In the IA meeting, participants discussed on Fire safety refresher training (3 days) for volunteers will be in September. Fire safety billboard repair will be done in September. Inter-Agency Meeting was held on 26 th August and attended by 53 (17 Females); representatives from Military, UNHCR, LWF, Plan, DRC, SCI, CMC, FMC, Incentive Workers, sector leaders, TLS teachers, disabled persons, elderly people and social groups. The meeting shared the update information and discussed on issues/concerns in the camp. Workshop on CCCM and Roles of Incentive Workers for incentive workers was conducted by LWF on 28 th August and 23 (9 Female) persons participated. LWF monitored complaints received through CRM boxes on weekly basis including TLS facilities. Fire points and information bill boards were checked on 31 st August. LWF coordinated with SI and SCI and discussed mutually about implemented activities during the month and received following month s plan on 31 st August. 10 (5 Girls) babies were born while 4 (1 Female) death in the camp in August. Population and activity dash board for the month were updated. CMC meeting discussed on Food, WASH, and Cyclone affected shelters of IDPs, affected HHs, walkway from the camp, Education, Health clinic in camp and transport for higher education and need of new TLS in Sector 6. Need to install information billboard. LWF will repair damaged CRM vinyl and billboard in sector 1 and 5. LWF will distribute remaining items (umbrella and shoes) visibility kits. LWF will support communication and coordination costs to CMC on monthly basis. CMC and IWs are planning on verifying HHs data. LWF is planning on levelling for individual houses. Education Agency LWF, UNICEF 5 TLS facilitated by 20 Teachers in Thae Chaung. Details list of number of students are as below: Grade Girl Boy IDPs requested to LWF to construct 1 TLS in Sector 6. There are over 400 students in each TLS as there is lack of land space to construct more TLSs in the camp. TLS teacher requested to install water point near TLS. LWF to coordinate with WASH agency. 10 Food and Nutrition Agency Plan International Health Agency DOH, MRCS and SCI NFE kits for the 100 NFE students provided by LWF on 13 th August. TLS 29 damaged by Komen Cyclone and it is closed now. Students are now attending other TLSs. IDPs are worrying about the safety of TLSs because those TLSs are being used by many students. Some host community students are also attending to TLSs. 10 Ceramic Water Filters (CWF) for 5 TLSs (2 CWF/TLS) were provided by SI on 11 th, 12 th August. Hygiene awareness session by SI in TLSs going on weekly basis. Plan and CMC/FMC collected food distribution list on 5 th and 11 th August. 2 sessions of focus group discussion (FGD) with FMC and IDPs about food was led by Plan on 12 th August. It was participated by 30 (16 Female) people and 15 people for each session. Camp visit and discussion with CMC/FMC on food distribution was on 14 th and 19 th August. Some theft cases among IDPs in the camp were reported by CMC during IA meeting due to delayed food distribution. Plan continued food ration distribution as previous population list. DOH and MRCS provided health services as follow: Day Agency Time Tuesday, MRCS 9.00 am 12.00pm Wednesday and Friday DOH SCI updated information from Mother to Mother Group and Peer Group monthly meetings. SCI conducted cooking demonstrating for Mother to Mother group on 17 th and 18 th August. 100 participants were divided into 5 groups and 20 people in each group. After cooking demonstration, 10 best performers were awarded (bowl, plate and spoon). Counselling the families who have children (under 5 years old) in the camp every weekday was provided by 8 volunteers of SCI. SCI updated number of new born babies and number of IDPs transferring in and out. 29 ASAP. CMCs gave direction to all TLS teachers to work on time in TLSs and not to involve in other agencies. IDPs and CMC requested to distribute food regularly and with complete set. IDPs requested to provide a Health Clinic in the camp. SCI provided Breast feeding space is currently closed and that service is providing in ANC building. SCI is planning on nutrition assessment for children (under 5 years old) and survey on lactating mothers/ babies (under 5 months old). LWF/UNHCR/IDP Camp Monthly SITREP/Aug 2015 Page 10

11 NFIs UNHCR, LWF Shelter RSG, UNHCR WASH Agency SI Protection & Community Service Agency LWF,DRC None LWF collected the number of shelter damaged by Cyclone Komen. SI is organizing mass camp cleaning campaign on every Monday and Friday. LWF incentive workers are invited to participate in the campaign. 6 solar lamps were installed in May and 7 solar lamps on 24 th August. All are functioning. 54 water points are already repaired in August. 28 latrines are completely finished with concrete post in 14 th August and renovations of 17 latrines are still ongoing. 35 latrines affected by Cyclone Komen have been repaired. 150 latrines have been covered with the lids and put sand bag around the pits for safety measure. SI had Hygiene Promotion (HP) session 3 times per week in the camp. SI provided 16 hand washing points in the camp. 7 stairs (in sector 1), 2 stairs (in sector 2), 4 stairs (in sector 3) and 3 stairs (in sector 4). Those are functioning well. 1,000 feet bamboo drainage renovation is accomplished in Sector 1 to 4 last week. Supplied newspapers and magazines for the community library by LWF every Monday. Capacity development training for social groups on 4 th August and fully participated by 30 (15 Female) as limited numbers of participants. LWF verified PSN assessment in the camp on 11 th August. LWF announced trainees and trainer for sewing training on 11 th August. DRC informed CMC to form Parents team group (PTG) and Youth Group (YG). DRC explained criteria of those groups. IDPs and CMC requested to provide tarpaulin sheets since houses were damaged by Cyclone Komen. CMC submitted request to LWF to improve walkway in sector 1, 2, 3 and 5. In sector 1, 2, 3 have 3,075 feet and in sector 5 has 1,933 feet. Some latrines stairs are damaged in sector 1, 2, 3 and 4. SI will repair 17 latrines with concrete post. 2 water points need repair. SI will provide school cleaning kit for TLS in Sept. SI provided 10 washrooms in the camp but those are not in good condition. SI has a plan repairing them. SI has a plan to repair stairs of the latrines in sector 1, 2, 3 and 4. IDPs requested to provide a cupboard for library. LWF has a plan to have social group meetings in September. LWF has a plan to conduct mechanic and electronics repair training for men/youths. LWF will provide sewing training for women/girls starting September. Fire safety and DRR Agency - LWF There was regular monitoring on fire safety volunteers on fire safety points. IDPs requested LWF to provide additional 4 fire safety points in sector 6. LWF, UNHCR, RSG USAID delegation visited to camp to monitor the shelter situation after the cyclone and interacted with CMCs with CDN (WASH & FOOD) and LWF on 7 th August. LWF discussed with CMCs and leaders of camp to distribute NFI family kits and core NFI kits which is required. provided by UNHCR for those affected family by the cyclone on 10 th August. CMC meeting was held on 7 th August and representative of YDG, WDG, CDG, PTA and other sub committees and CMCs, participated. The camp leader led the discussion in the issues in August. LWF provided training of Role and Responsibility to IWs, representative of CMCs and WDGs, from KDK 1, 2 and Basara camp. The training focused on Camp and Camp Life, CCCM, identify IW, Roles and Responsibility, CRM and CwC. 10 men and 14 women participated on 25 th August, the participants actively participated and presented very well and some questioned critically. LWF facilitated Inter Agency Meeting on 26 th August with service providers, representative of CMCs, WDGs, CDGs, YDGs, and PLWSN, discussed the updates and concerns the situation of camp, shared the responsibilities, took a role by CMCs and service providers upon the issues. Cyclone Komen affected 48 HHs severely while 85 HHs partially. CMC informed that Indonesia provided 3,500 MMK/HH for 399 HHs on 29 th August. There was no birth and death reported in the camp within this month. The cyclone affected families are staying in their relatives shelters. The CMC meeting hall is collapsed due to cyclone. Repair and maintenance is urgently LWF changed the structure of CMC meeting to bring the agendas of urgent issues from the camp and find out the root cause to solve the problem. Physical and domestic violence are hardly reported. CMCs reported that they have to deal with this matter internally within the camp. LWF/UNHCR/IDP Camp Monthly SITREP/Aug 2015 Page 12

LWF have already appointed vacant English TLS teachers for Grade 5 Grade Primary Students aged 6-10yrs Boys Girls LWF monitored both NFE and TLS classes regularly to ensure those are running properly. There are 399 HHs in the camp. CDN distributed rice, oil, bean, Biscuit for LW, PW and WSB for U5 without salt to 262 HHs, 1347 populations on 17 th 20 th August. Due to poor access road, during unloading/distributing the food, it gets wet during rainy season. It is reported that pregnant women access the medical service from OG of MM and MHA. MHA provided Vitamin A table to under 5 year children, MHA, Nutrition, provided Vitamin A tablets to under 5 years children, 189 children, 68 girls on 28 th August. Mercy Malaysia (MM) conducted Mobile Clinic in the camp as below: Day Time Monday to Thursday 9 am 12 pm 160 NFI kits were distributed by LWF and UNHCR to Cyclone severely affected families (48 NFI kits) and Cyclone partially affected family (112 core NFI kits) on 12th August. Government supported to repair especially the roof part with the required materials 6 shelters, LH 32, 37, 43, 49, 36 and 40 which is totally damaged by the cyclone. Government provided the needed materials to repair the roofs part on 11 th August. LWF completed repairing 393 rooms out of 400 rooms under routine repair and maintenance tasks. LWF will repair number of TLS 22 and 23, roofs due to cyclone damages. LWF will hold the recreational activity, competition of essay writing and drawing picture for Grade 4 and 5 TLS students. CMCs raised that tuition fees for high and middle school students are expensive. WDG representatives request to provide the text books and school uniforms for students of TLS. CDN and CMC requested LWF to renovate access road near CMC office as food is transported during distribution. CMC concerned of health volunteers of the camp to translate symptoms properly. SCI provided Living & Harmony training to Child group (20 participants), and 8-14 years each week. SCI provided Excel life skill, phase 2 to 30 participants with Certificate. SCI conducted the meeting with CPG committee on 11 th August, attendance was 20 (2 Woman). SCI hold the meeting to be aware trafficking issue with CPG committee on 27 th August, attendance was 14 (4 Women). SCI conducted the meeting with the children for assessment of program of money grant for small business on 29 th August to form the youth band. DRC monitored livelihood activities in camp as usual. DRC provided I.P.A kits to elderly persons. Over 60 years, 6 men and 15 women received the kits on 10th August. Women requested to access the individual bathroom in the camp during Inter-Agency meeting. CDN will repair WASH facilities partially based on the assessment. CMCs requested to provide book shelves and a space for sustainable development for camp based library support. To conduct tailoring training, LWF will repair multipurpose building. Camp leaders led the discussion and the discussed the role of CMC and service providers including emerging issues in the camp on 27 th August. Education Agencies: SCI Food Agency: Plan, WFP 4 (2 girls) newly babies born and no death reported in this month. There are 8 TLS teachers (4 females) in the camp. Both NFE and TLS classes are running smoothly. There is 1 youth centre for NFE class. The primary student (6-10yrs) details are as below. The food items were only provided to the cyclone affected families (134 HHs) at first, then IDPs did not agree and protested to provide all IDP families (400 HHs). IRC and MOH provide health care service. MHA provided Vitamin A tablets to U5 on 26 th August. IRC operates Mobile Clinic in the camp as below: Day Time Monday to Thursday 9 am 12 pm CMC refused to accept for providing NFI kits from UNHCR/LWF for the only affected family of cyclone (127 NFI Kits to the 127 HHs). However, LWF is advocating and trying to convince CMC and IDPs in several forums. Government supported to repair especially the roofing part with the required materials for 6 shelters/lh numbers 11, 13, 28, 29, 33 and 34 which is totally damaged by the cyclone. LWF completed repairing 343 rooms out of 400 rooms on regular repair and maintenance. SI rebuilt 108 latrines, renovated 2 solar lights and repaired water points. SI is testing water quality from water points on monthly basis. SI is promoting health education on weekly basis. LWF supported community library by providing journals and newspapers on weekly basis. LWF conducted PwSN assessment to provide supportive devices. According to the survey, 8 physically disable (6 women) need specific supports. LWF and UNHCR selected the participants and trainers for tailoring training on 19th August. CMC decided for tailoring training venue will be the modular house next to the CMCs office. LWF will repair 3 sets fire safety equipment in the camp next month. CMC requested a clinic in the camp with health care equipment since IDPs have to go to Da Paing and Thet Kae Pyin for serious cases and they have to pay cash for the treatment which they cannot afford. CMC requested to provide solar light for studying for students and road torch for protection. LWF will repair 119 rooms out of 400 which are damaged due to Cyclone in the next phase. Cyclone damaged 71 latrines SI will install 2 solar lights more coming month, shared at IA Meeting. Currently, no agency implements livelihood activity inside the camp. CMCs request to provide showcase or book shell and a space for sustainable development for camp based library support. ULAMA Organization supported money contributions, 5,000 Kyats/household for 1,126 HH of staying with offered food for families and displaced IDPs from Kyauk Phyu on 14 th August. Inter-agency meeting was conducted on 20 th August and attended by 29 (11 Women) representatives from CMC, WDG, YDG, and disable persons, DRC, CDN, Plan, and LWF. The agencies shared previous month progress, responded concerns and shared next month plan. US Ambassador, USAid Director, OCHA and UNHCR visited and discussed on living situation with CMC, WDG and IDPs in camp on 21 st August LWF conducted capacity development workshop on CCCM and roles of Camp Incentive Worker on 24 th August and participated by 25 (11 women) people from CMC, WDG and Incentive workers. There are 10 (4 girls) newly born babies and 4 (2 women) people passed away during the month. CMC and Incentive Workers mobilized IDPs from damaged shelters to the evacuated places (Modular houses, TLSs, CFSs and others) in camp in the first week of August. By the cyclone, 1 multipurpose building, 55 shelters are totally damaged and 175 shelters are partially damaged. CCCM Agency- LWF, UNHCR, RSG Education Agency- LWF, EU 5 TLSs and 5 CFSs are damaged (roof and wall) by the cyclone. 7 Child Friendly Centres in the camp are used by 574 (264 girls) kids aged 3-5yrs. LWF distributed student kits to TLSs students in camp on 26 th August. Details data of 9 TLS students: Grade Boys Girls , ,148 1,026 2,174 Incentive Workers and CMC requested to support the visibility kits (umbrella, shoes & rain coat) during rainy season. Existing CMC members are afraid of reforming CMC in the camp by the government. IDPs and CMC requested to renovate 3 small culverts on main road between OTG (South) and OTG (North) in the camp. Based on the recent LWF PwSN assessment in August, there are 73 (35 women) persons with specific needs, 183 pregnant women and 338 lactating mother in the camp. There is no middle school in the camp. LWF has started to repair the TLSs and CFSs. CMC mentioned that text books and adequate furniture for TLSs should be provided. LWF requested to PTA, IDPs and CMCs to provide security of all school infrastructures and school items. LWF/UNHCR/IDP Camp Monthly SITREP/Aug 2015 Page 17

18 Food and Nutrition Agencies- PLAN, CDN and ACF Plan conducted capacity building workshop with 10 (5 women) of FMC on 7th August. RSG distributed 8 Kg of rice per household for 1,086 HH on 10th August. MRF distributed following food items 24 kg rice, 3 kg beans, 5 litres oil and 2 packs salt/hh to 1086 HH on 10th August. 1,496 IDPs of 257 HHs received Rice and Blended food from CDN in OTG (1) on 25th August. Plan distributed Rice and Blended food for 1,096 IDPs (225 HH) in the camp on 26th August. Oil, beans and salt were not distributed this month and some items are provided for flood respond. Muslim Aid UK (MAUK) distributed food (18 kg of rice, 3 litre of Oil, 1 viss of beans and 2 viss of potatoes/hh) to the cyclone affected 777 HHs on 12 th August. MHAA is supporting nutrition activity for malnutrition children 2 days/week in the camp. ACF is providing nutrition and MHCP programs. ACF Nutrition Clinic opens 3 days/week in the camp. Mercy Malaysia (MM) provides health care service in OTG (south & north camps) every weekday from 9am-3pm. IDPs from (Baw Dhu Pha 20 LH) informed to Plan that, they received a few High energy biscuits (out of date) from Baw Dhu Pha (2) camp. Whenever the IDPs are distributed food ration from that camp, the IDPs are treated differently by the FMC. ACF is supporting nutrition activity, but nutrition activity but IDPs are selling nutrition package. Health Agency- MM Serious patients from the camp have to go Dar Paing Clinic & they cannot afford transport cost. NFIs Agency- None to report. IDPs requested to provide NFI Kits (Warm Clothing, Blanket, Cooking pot and Family kits). Shelter RSG supported 2,260 Zinc sheets for roofing, 30 viss of thumbtack, 5 rolls of iron sheet and 28 stick CMC requested to renovate immediately Agency LWF, of beam to repair for shelter roofing of OTG (1)/South in the camp on 9 th August. damaged Multipurpose by cyclone in the camp. UNHCR, RSG 55 shelters are totally damaged and (175) shelters are partially damaged by the cyclone. Now IDPs LWF is conducting repair & maintenance of WASH Agency- DRC Protection and Community Service Agency - LWF and SCI DRR and fire safety Agency- LWF from those shelters are staying in Modular houses, TLSs, CFSs and Market Centres in Camp. Distributed 4,640 hygiene kits to 2,320 HHs for both July and August months on 24 th August. WASH activities like dislodging and camp cleaning campaign continue with 222 volunteers from DRC. Drainage system is provided as construction activity with U shape -230 and V Shape-2,038 ft on sideways of main road in the camp. 420 Latrines from OTG (4) was 100% completed, 113 latrines from OTG (1) and 65 latrines from Baw Du Pha (20LH) are 50% completed. Incinerator construction was 100% completely finished. LWF held closing ceremony on 6 th Aug for Tailoring Training and 25 (10 women) people participated. In cooperation with UNHCR, IRC, LWF conducted training of protection mainstreaming in WASH, it was participated by 30 (15 women) in the camp on 19 th and 26 th August. SCI is providing maternal and child health protection activity and vaccine feeding activity for 325 children (under 5 years old) in the camp on 24 th August. LWF supplied weekly newspapers and Journals for community library. A set of Fire Safety billboard was damaged by Komen cyclone. LWF monitored on fire safety points and volunteers. damaged 2,225 out of total 2,320 rooms. DRC will provide tools for water point repairing, it is under procurement process. DRC provided 132 posts for solar lights and now providing repairing process for 14 damaged posts of solar lights due to the damages by cyclone. CMC and IDPs suggested installing Library sign board in front of the library including opening hrs. LWF is planning conducting Sewing/dress making Training in August after final selections for trainer and trainees for the second round of participants.
