6 Appendix 3 Annual EEO Public File Report Period Covered: December 1, 2013 to November 30, 2014 Station Comprising Employment Unit: Reiten Television, Incorporated KXMA CBS2 / KXMB CBS12 / KXMC CBS13 / KXMD CBS11 Job Fairs: We attended the Job Fair at Dakota College in Bottineau, North Dakota on Monday, September 9, We had a banner hung up to identify the station along with a computer and camera to show some news material. We interacted with more than 100 high school students from the region who were investigating options for careers. We answered many questions about both part-time and full-time jobs at the television station, including the best avenues for education for people interested in news department jobs. List of Reiten Television employees who attended: Jim Olson (Corporate News Director) - KXMC CBS13 Tom Schrader (Chief Meteorologist) - KXMC CBS13
7 Scheduled Tours: Tom Gerhardt gave a tour to the BSC Broadcast Journalism class (Dusty Anderson teacher) on December 9, They had 10 people in the group and they particularly wanted to watch the 5pm News live in the studio. Tom Gerhardt gave the Cub Scouts Troop 123 a tour on January 27, 3:30pm. They had 15 people in their group and they wanted to see what a television station looked like. Jason Kerner was the contact person for this group. Tom Szymanski and Lauren Kalberer conducted a tour for the Boy Scouts Pack 152. They had 8 people in the group. They were here on January 28 5pm. They were visiting a television station as one of the requirements to earn a badge. Tim Reiten gave a tour to Tiger Cubs Pack 70 on February 6 3:30pm for a group of 15 people. Perry Olson gave a tour to Sunnyside Elementary School (1 st & 5 th Graders) on June 2 nd. They had a total of 36 1 st graders and 33 5 th graders. Leann Hanson was the group contact name.
