1 February 28, 2018 Friends of Dreamers Higher Education National Call-In Day What To Tell Your Members of Congress An example: Hello, my name is and I m a student/faculty member/staff member at. I m calling because I have friends/students on campus with me who are Dreamers, and I want to urge the Senator/Representative to act soon and support a bipartisan bill to protect Dreamers without harmful cuts to legal immigration and without harming immigrants. After March 5, thousands of Dreamers a week are going to lose their status, and I don t want my friends/students to have to leave school after they ve worked so hard. This is really important to me. Some notes: If you are calling the senator or representative from your home district, make sure you let them know you are from their district. Feel free to add more details about why this issue or your friends/students are important to you.
