1 1 Aims and objects of the organisation OFFICE OF THE NOTIFIED AREA COUNCIL, BOUDHGARH. Manual-- I Particulars of Organisation,functions and duties [ Section 4(1)(b)(i)] a) To lookafter the sanitation of the town b) To maintan its roads,drains & streetlights c) To manage the waste generated (both solid & liquid) from the town in a scientific manner. d) To impliment the schemes of Central Govt. & State Govt. on poverty alliviation. e) To plan the town in a scientific manner. 2 Mission/Vision a)council have a proposal to declare Marjakud polethyne free area by December-2008 b) Council have proposal to declair Boudh town as zero garbage town by December-2010 c) We have proposal to upgrade 50% of BPL families to APL by March Brief history and back ground for its establishment Boudhgarh NAC is constituted in the year 1961.It is the only Urban Local Body in the District. As per 2001 censes population of Boudhgarh NAC is 18025,out of which 4030 & 378 belong to SC & ST respectively.the NAC is divided in to 17 Wards.Ward No13&14 constitute an Island in the river Mahanadi. 4 Organisation Chart a)tax Section,Sri Bhagabana Acharya,-in -charge b) Account section,sri Sanjeeb Kumar Sahu,-in-charge c) Esst.Section,Sri Dambarudhar Nayak,-in -charge d) Warks section Sri Asish Baran Nayak-in-charge e) Poverty Alliviation,Sri Prafulla Ku.
