1 INFORMATION UNDER RTI ACT, 2005 ABOUT NCLAT NATIONAL COMPANY LAW APPELLATE TRIBUNAL 3rd Floor, Pt. Deen Dayal Antyodaya Bhawan CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi I) Particulars of the organization, functions, Jurisdiction and duties etc. The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has been constituted by the central government under section 410 of the Companies Act, 2013 for hearing appeals against the orders of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) with effect from 1 June NCLAT is also the Appellate Tribunal for hearing appeals against the orders passed by NCLT(s) under Section 61 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC), with effect from 1st December, NCLAT is also the Appellate Tribunal for hearing appeals against the orders passed by Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India under Section 202 and Section 211 of IBC. NCLAT is also the Appellate Tribunal to hear and dispose of appeals against any direction issued or decision made or order passed by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) as per the amendment brought to Section 410 of the Companies Act, 2013 by Section 172 of the Finance Act, 2017, with effect from 26th May, Any person aggrieved by an order of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) may prefer an appeal to the Appellate Tribunal within the time prescribed under section 421 of the Companies Act The constitution of NCLAT is as follows: - 1. VIII) The particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information, including the working hours of a library or reading room, if maintained for public use; Anybody who approaches The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal in person or over the telephone is given all the necessary guidance and information. Facilitation Centre is in operation at Ground Floor of Pt. Deendayal Antyodaya Bhawan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, Delhi A copy of final order passed in appeals is forwarded to the the parties concerned free of cost.
