4 SENATE -- # A Bill to Eliminate the Federal Estate Tax BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: 0 SECTION. SECTION. SECTION. SECTION. SECTION. Any federal tax placed on the estate of a deceased individual shall be eliminated. An estate is defined as money, investments, property, or possessions of the deceased owner of the property in question. This legislation will be enforced in cooperation with the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of the Treasury. The timeframe for the implementation of this legislation shall be at the beginning of the tax year (January ) following its passage.. 5 HOUSE -- # A Resolution to Eliminate the U.S. Department of Education WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, RESOLVED, The 0th Amendment of the US Constitution states that powers not specifically outlined for the federal government shall be delegated to the States; and Mandates issued by the U.S. Department of Education are inefficient and have shown no measurable improvement in education; and Unfunded mandates issued to the states by the Department have caused crises in many state education budgets; now, therefore, be it By the Congress here assembled that the U.S. Department of Education and all of its mandates be dissolved. 6 HOUSE -- # A Bill to Establish a Cabinet-Level Department for Cybersecurity 0 BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: SECTION. The American federal government will form an executive Department of Cybersecurity with a cabinet secretary leading the agency. SECTION. A. The Department of Cybersecurity will advance the interest of the American people through protecting the United States of American from foreign and domestic cyberthreats. B. A cabinet secretary shall be defined as the head the executive department, who, in accordance with the Constitution, is appointed with Presidential nomination and Senatorial consent and in the case of cybersecurity, will have the power to investigate any cyber threat or interference and advise the President on retaliatory measures having to do with cyber. SECTION. A. The Congress and President of the United States shall be responsible for enforcing the provisions of this bill. B. The newly-formed Department of Cybersecurity will obtain billion dollars in funding from a combination of all federal departments that already allocate funding to cybersecurity and an additional billion in funding from the Department of Defense. SECTION. The provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage. SECTION. All laws in conflict with the provisions of this bill shall be declared null and void. 7 HOUSE -- # A Bill to Lift the United States Embargo Against Cuba 0 BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: SECTION. The United States of America shall lift its economic and financial embargo against the Republic of Cuba and shall rule the Cuban Assets Control Regulations unlawful. SECTION. A. Embargo shall be defined as an official ban on trade or other commercial activity with a particular country, more specifically, the Republic of Cuba. B. Cuban Assets Control Regulations shall be defined as regulations of the United States Department of the Treasury on July,, under the Trading with the Enemy Act of, that general regulate relations between Cuba and the U.S. and are the main mechanism of domestic enforcement of the United States embargo against Cuba. SECTION. The Department of State and the Department of the Treasury shall be responsible for enforcing the provisions of this bill. SECTION. The provisions of this bill shall take effect on January, 00. SECTION. All laws in conflict with the provisions of this bill shall be declared null and void.
