Visitors were welcomed and acknowledged. President Bish informed the public that there was an executive session/personnel meeting on August 14, 2018 at 6:30 7:01 p.m. No action taken.

No repot GENERAL PUBLIC Eric Stawecki, students & chaperone spoke about their experience during the recent trip to Germany. 4 1757 BUILDING, SUPPLIES, & CAFETERIA COMMITTEE Raymond Reckner, Vice-Chairperson A motion was made by Raymond Reckner, seconded by Edward Yahner, to approve the following requests for use of facilities according to school district guidelines: FFA & Farm Bureau Meetings & Tours of District s Ag Facilities August 24, :45 a.m.-2:00 p.m. High School Auditorium, Cafeteria, Greenhouse & Barn Reality Tour Committee Reality Tour February 20 & 27, :00-10:00 p.m. High School Auditorium, Hallways & Classrooms A motion was made by Raymond Reckner, seconded by James Brown, to set the adult lunch prices to $2.65 effective for the school year. (Same as last year) TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE James Brown, Chairperson A motion was made by James Brown, seconded by Robert Grecco, to approve the bus contractors and drivers for the school year. Motion unanimously carried by all members present. A motion was made by James Brown, seconded by Edward Yahner, to approve the transportation schedule for the school year. 5 1758 A meeting with the bus contractors will be held Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school library. A motion was made by James Brown, seconded by Edward Yahner, to authorize administration to establish a fuel surcharge payment plan using a base price of $2.003 for diesel, $1.799 for gasoline and $2.044 for dyed fuel (exclusive of all federal and state taxes with pricing obtained from William G. Saterlee) effective for the school year for approved PDE reimbursable miles as per each bus contract. The program will include the reimbursement of 80% of the average monthly price increase above this base price. (same since ) Motion unanimously carried by all members present. POLICY COMMITTEE Robert Grecco, Chairperson No report FINANCE AND BUDGET COMMITTEE Robert Cherubini, Chairperson A motion was made by Robert Cherubini, seconded by Jeffery Ginther, to approve the agreement with the following treatment center to provide therapeutic and appropriate educational services: Dickinson Center, Inc. (Crossroads) A motion was made by Robert Cherubini, seconded by Jeffery Ginther, to approve an agreement with Gaggle, Net Inc., to provide archiving services for staff and students for the term of August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019, at a cost of $1, Motion unanimously carried by all members present.

6 1759 A motion was made by Robert Cherubini, seconded by Jeffery Ginther, to approve the tuition agreement between the District and New Story to provide educational and related services to children with special educational needs at a rate of $350/day/student. A motion was made by Robert Cherubini, seconded by Jeffery Ginther, to approve the Memorandum of Understanding with the Riverview Intermediate Unit 6 for the following services and rates for the school year: Occupational Therapy - $75/hr Physical Therapy - $78/hr Vision Services - $43.67/hr Hearing Services - $262/hr A motion was made by Robert Cherubini, seconded by Jeffery Ginther, to authorize Jeff Vizza to sign any and all contracts, agreements, grants and/or licenses with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Board also consents to the use of Mr. Vizza s electronic signature for said documents. Motion unanimously carried by all members present. 7 1760 Scholarship Award Savings Account INSTRUCTIONAL AND PERSONNEL COMMITTEE Jacqueline Manno, Chairperson Title I Report Allocations: Title I - $238, Title II - $36, Title IV - $18, A motion was made by Jacqueline Manno, seconded by Robert Cherubini, to approve the elementary and secondary staff assignments for the school year. A motion was made by Jacqueline Manno, seconded by Robert Grecco, to approve the transfer request of Jamie Wolfe from a 4-hour cafeteria worker position to a full-time

SUPERINTENDENT S REPORT The next scheduled regular board meeting is Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Jeff Ginther spoke about his son s advancements at West Virginia University due to all the great opportunities offered at the Brockway Area School District. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Jacqueline Manno, seconded by Jeffery Ginther, to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 p.m.
