If you would like to address the Board, please fill out a blue card located near the entrance of the room and turn it in. You will be called on to comment when your item is reached on the agenda. If the item is not on the agenda, you will comment at this time. Provisions of the Brown Act (Govt. Code (a).3) preclude any action being taken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda for action. CONSENT ITEMS *Action Items listed as Consent are considered to be standard and are acted on by the Board of Trustees in one motion. With the exception of Closed Session Items, there is no discussion of consent items prior to Board vote unless a member of the Board, staff or the public so requests. It should be noted that, in the interest of efficiency, Board members may have reached out to the superintendent prior to the meeting to have their questions answered. Each consent item approved by the Board shall be deemed to have been considered in full and adopted as recommended. 9A. Expulsions The Board thoughtfully reviews each case individually during Closed Session and determines to agree with the Hearing Panel s findings and recommendations in their entirety and without change. Should the Board desire to change the recommendation of the Hearing Panel the Board will call out that case by number and discuss the modifications.
