Senior members conduct 3-day seminar in Wardak WARDAK, July Al-Emarah News said Saturday a three-day long seminar conducted by the senior members of Dawat-wal-Irshad (commission of guidance and preaching) took place in Chaghto district of Wardak province. A large number of the villagers, Ulama and Mujahideen took part in the seminars that held in 3 different parts of the district. Moulana Mohammad Sharif and Maulavi Rahat Gul gave comprehensive talks on Jihad. The definition of Jihad and its purpose, Fazail e Jihad (the benefits of Jihad), Hukum (law) and intention of Jihad, sincerity and several others topics were the discussed during the speeches. The people and Mujahideen showed their joys and satisfaction over the 3-daylong seminar and stressed the importance of the programs and asked for the continuation of them. 18 killed, many injured in Wardak attacks WARDAK, July 31 An officer was killed and his gunman was wounded when there was a bomb attack near the enemy in Syed Abad district of Wardak province early Sunday. To retaliate, the enemy stormed the civilian homes and abducted a number of the villagers after beating them up badly. On Saturday, 6 puppets were killed and one wounded in a bomb attack and exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Syed Abad district of Wardak province. A Mujahid fighter, too, embraced martyrdom clash. Similarly, 11 puppets were killed and 2 vehicles destroyed in two roadside bombings in Chak district of Wardak province on Saturday. Moreover, the Arbaki militia suffered deadly losses in Mujahideen night raids last night in Chak and Jalriz district of this province. 1 killed, 3 injured in Balkh BALKH, July 31 A roadside bomb blast hit a vehicle carrying the enemy to a military post in the provincial capital of Balkh province on Saturday night, leaving a puppet dead and 3 others wounded. Mujahideen seize 2 enemy combat posts SAMANGAN, July 31 Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized and dismantled two of the enemy combat posts in Darah Souf district of northern Samangan province, leaving a puppet dead and five others wounded. A Mujahid fighter, too, became martyr in the exchange of fire.

District building struck; five killed KABUL, July 31 At least five puppets suffered casualties in a clash with Mujahideen in Daysabz district of Kabul province on Sunday. In another report from Kabul, Mujahideen shelled the building of the district of Musahi but it is unclear if anyone was killed or wounded. 6 killed, 4 injured in southern Afghanistan GHAZNI, July 31 At least 3 police and 3 puppets of special forces were killed with another two wounded in a clash with Mujahideen in Shalgar district of Ghazni province early Sunday. An armored tank was shot and destroyed in the attack. In the province s Dayak district, a puppet was killed in a surprise attack on Saturday. Separately, Mujahideen shelled an enemy post in Shalgar district of the province on Saturday. Furthermore, a remote-controlled bomb attack targeted a vehicle carrying police in the provincial capital of Ghazni province on Saturday and left two puppets wounded. Clearance operation: 4 post taken over, 20 villages secured KUNDUZ, July 31 Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate sized 4 outposts and purged the enemy from 20 villages in Qala-e-Zal district of Kunduz province, according to Al-Emarah News reports. It adds Mujahideen fighters chased the enemy away from part of the said district after hours of fighting, leaving an unknown number of the enemy dead and wounded. Separately, two Arbakis were wounded in a clash with Mujahideen elsewhere in Kunar province on Sunday morning. In another report, 8 Arbaki militia joined Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate in Ghazi Abad district of Kunar province on Saturday. 3 puppets killed in Logar province LOGAR, July 31 At least 3 puppets were killed when Mujahideen

Enemy leaves 2 civilians martyred; 5 puppets killed KUNDUZ, July 31 The Arbaki militia shot two civilians dead and ransacked their house in Aqcha district of Jowzjan province on Saturday. Separately, five policemen were killed and two more were wounded in a clash and a bomb attack in Qushtifa district of the province on Saturday. 13 villages cleared; 8 killed in Badakhshan BADAKHSHAN, July 31 At least 8 puppets were killed and 10 more were wounded with 6 tanks destroyed during an intense fighting between Mujahideen and joint enemy forces in Raghistan district of Badakhshan province on Saturday. On Sunday, Mujahideen cleared of the enemy a huge swath of land in Shuhada district of northern Badakhshan province, chasing the enemy from 13 villages. An unknown number of the enemy soldiers were killed and wounded in the ensuing firefight. 5 puppets killed, 11 hurt eastern Afghanistan; post abandoned NANGARHAR, July 31 At least two puppets were killed and another four sustained injuries in a firefight caused by Mujahideen attack on a police post in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province on Saturday night. In another report, 3 Arbaki lapdogs were wounded and a vehicle destroyed in Mujahideen attack on Saturday evening. Furthermore, an Arbaki was killed and two others were wounded in a brief exchange of fire with Mujahideen in Khogyani district of Nangarhar province on Saturday, while a further two Arbakis were wounded when Mujahideen attacked their outpost in Bati Kot district of the province on the same day. According to a report from neighboring Laghman province, the Arbakis left their post unoccupied in the provincial capital of Laghman province and fled the post for fear of Mujahideen attacks. The puppets administration of the said district has been claiming that they have caused casualties to Mujahideen in the said district. We categorically reject these false claims. Enemy want to boost up the morale of their troops by such baseless claims. The coward enemy has brutally martyred a 70 year elder villager inside his compound in the area. APC and 2 vehicles destroyed as 3 posts overrun in Nawa, equipment seized HELMAND, July. 31 According to Al Emarah news, amid ongoing annual campaign Operation Omari, Mujahideen carried out coordinated attacks overnight on 2 ANA check posts in Tangano Godar area as well as 3 police check posts in Terikh Nawar region s Semeti area, Nawa district. Attacks of heavy and light arms lasted for about 3 hours during which 1 ANA check post and 2 police check posts were overrun, forcing them to leave behind 9 corpses on the battle ground and destroying an APC, a ranger pickup and a sedan vehicle. It is said that an APC, 1 Dshk, 1 PKM machine gun, 1 RPG, 5 rifles, 1 pistol and various other war equipment was confiscated in the operation. A Mujahid was also wounded in the crossfire. Strategic base, 7 check posts overrun as fighting underway in Nad Ali HELMAND, July. 31 A recent report from Nad Ali district says that at around 10:30 pm local time on Saturday Mujahideen launched coordinated attacks against enemy positions in the surroundings of the said district amid ongoing Omari annual campaign. The gunfight is said to be still ongoing in which so far a key enemy military base and 7 outposts have been overrun, forcing the enemy to leave behind 5 corpses on the battle ground. It is said that 7 gunmen have been arrested, an APC and a sizable amount of war equipment has been seized. By overrunning the said base and check posts, Sharin Charrahi, Abdul Samad Charrahi, Shingul Charrahi, and Torejan Charrahi areas came under the control of Islamic Emriate s Mujahideen. Other military installations in the area are under heavy attacks of Mujahideen, the details of which will be updated as information arrives. 5 Maiwand, weapons seized KANDAHAR, July. 31 At around 11:00 pm local time yesterday Islamic Emirate Mujahideen assaulted 2 ANA check posts in Band Taimor s Haji Khelo area, Maiwand district, amid ongoing Omari annual campaign. Attack in which heavy and light arms were used resulted in both check posts overrun after a brief resistance, killing 20 puppets inside and forcing the rest to flee. According to details 5 PKM machine guns, 2 RPGs, 4 AKs, 1 American sniper gun, 1 SPG-9 tube, 1 heavy machine gun, AK and PKM rounds, 700 RPG rounds and other war spoils were confiscated in the successful operation. Enemy casualties in Pushtrod reach 65 as outpost overrun FARAH, July. 31 Officials say the gunfight which started 9 days ago against enemy positions in the surroundings of Pushtrod district is still underway today. Reports say an enemy check post was overrun in Chak area overnight, leaving several gunmen killed or hurt as well as seizing a large amount of war equipment. At least 40 puppets have been killed with 25 others wounded and 4 tanks destroyed amid the 9 days long operation. It is said that 3 Mujahideen have been martyred and 15 others wounded. Other enemy check posts and bases are still under Mujahideen attacks in the area, details of which will be published later. Police station, 4 check posts overrun in Nad Ali HELMAND, July. 31 Reports say a gunfight that started last night against enemy positions in the surroundings of Nad Ali district is still underway with full intensity. According to recent details a key police station in Noorzo village and 4 check posts have been overrun and a large area came under Mujahideen control. During the gunfight several police and ANA gunmen including Commander Lal Jan has been killed or wounded. A heavy machine gun, 1 RPG, 10 rifles and other war equipment seized in the operation. Reports state that Mujahideen are currently heading towards district administration center as heavy clashes in Zarghon, Shena villages and Laghmanyano area are ongoing. It is worth reminding that a key enemy base and 7 outposts were also overrun in the Nari Pula area of the same district overnight and 3 enemy posts were overrun in Nawa district of the same province yesterday.
The Arbakis are said to have fled the fighting site, leaving 3 of their dead bodies on the scene.
