15 Carolina Ures Highlights Since 1999, has worked a legal advisor in Trade, primarily focuses on issues relating to tariff and non-tariff barriers. Significant experience representing companies before different government institutions that regulate and apply international trade laws and other related matters, such as trade remedies, SPS, TBT, licenses and other non-tariff barriers. Selected by the Brazilian Panelist Committee of the World Trade Organization to serve as a WTO panelist between 2018 and Has been practicing in the area of international law for over 20 years. Has defended the investments of Brazilian and foreign producers, exporters and importers, as well as governments in several different jurisdictions, including Brazil, EU, Russia, Mexico, Argentina and the US. With a background in international negotiations, provides reports of trade policy and strategy recommendations for exporters of goods and services on political trade debates.
