Historical Note Chinese Communist Party. Scope and Content of Collection Internal documents, books, pamphlets, serial issues, broadsides, and flyers relating to political, military, social, and economic conditions in China at the national, provincial, and local levels. An increment received in 2012 consists of more than two hundred pieces of historical material relating to the Chinese Cultural Revolution. It contains nearly two hundred issues of the Red Guard "little newspapers" published between 1967 and 1971 and other communist pamphlets, internal party documents, booklets, serial issues, and published speeches of communist leaders during this period.
