2 DESIGN SIMLIFIED UM IDENTIFICATION ump: - Centrifugal, single stage, horizontal. This lowers the temperature in the mechanical-seal chamber without the need for an additional cooling system. - Sealed with a standardised non-cooled mechanical seal fitted directly to the shaft. - Impeller diameter adaptable to obtain the duty point required. Thermal barrier : A double thermal barrier behind the centrifugal impeller enables a significant reduction in the temperature of the pump drive and mechanical-seal chamber. This enables use of a seal without an external cooling system. Calorific loss is also efficiently reduced. C TEMERATURE REDUCTION CURVE DESIGN SECIFICATION Casing Open on drive side to enable the mechanical assembly to be dismounted from behind. Mounting feet under the volute casing. Axial suction, radial discharge upwards. Flanges with double female socket joints to standard EN 9-. (NESD: N - NESE: N). Casing cover Designed to limit heat transfer to the mechanical-seal chamber. The volume of liquid in the mechanical-seal chamber enables the pump to self-cool up to its maximum temperature ( or C depending on the model). Bearings Journal bearing near the impeller limits vibrations. Grease-lubricated ball bearing on the drive end designed specifically to resist high temperatures. Maximum authorised power: Shaft Amply dimensioned with shaft sleeve for longer mechanical-seal service life. Shaft seal Standardised mechanical seal with shaft sleeve, adapted to the liquid being pumped. No servicing required during operation. Impeller High-efficiency GG cast-iron closed radial impeller with back seal and balance holes. Adapted (cropped) on request to comply with the Q/H required for the application.
