2 Hudson Caterers Pty Ltd commenced trading in 1982 when Alex Hudson opened Alexanders Theatre Restaurant in Darby Street Newcastle. During the late 80 s and 90 s Hudson Caterers Pty Ltd expanded into industrial canteens for Goninan s, NSW TAFE (Sydney and Tighes Hill), 3 central Coast Power Stations, State Rail work sheds and Tomago Aluminium along with working for some of the largest gas pipeline companies in Australia. Currently, we operate all Newcastle City Council inland public pools, as well as Bathers Newcastle Ocean Baths and Newcastle Beach, and have been the leaseholder of Newcastle Railway Station Kiosk for the past 27 years for NSW State Rail. Catering for large event has been something that Hudson Caterers have been involved in for many years around the Hunter, including International and Sheffield Shield Cricket, RAAF Open days, Bicentennial functions, Newcastle Knights Stadium and Speers Point Park Major Events. Over the last 15 years Hudson Caterers Pty Ltd have catered for SCEGS (Sydney Church of England Grammar School) and many NSW and Queensland horse trail riding associations. These camps range up to 750 persons and are set on a green field site, normally in private properties or Army ranges where all environmental standards are adhered too. Hudson Caterers Pty Ltd supplies all our own marquees, lighting, furniture, generators, fresh water tanks, waist water tanks, pumps, kitchens, staff toilet, shower and accommodation.
