Key Qualifications: Peter Tygesen has 25 years' work experience in developing and postconflict states, in mainly civil society, governance and communications issues, in both rural and urban settings. He is especially qualified in issues of civil society support, governance, fragile situations and state building, and has assisted in the design and re-evaluation of country and sector development programmes. In a Danish context, Tygesen has been involved in a string of activities analysing health opportunities and facilitating user-defined health initiatives within the public health administration. In addition, Tygesen has undertaken major research assignments for publication purposes. From Peter Tygesen's recent fieldwork assignments attention might be drawn to the following: Youth and political participation. Design and analysis of results from nation-wide quantitative survey on youth, their livelihood and their political participation in Zimbabwe.
