2 Neighbourhood Immigrant Settlement Program This program is funded by: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada There are twenty-eight Neighbourhood Immigrant Settlement Workers (NISWs), one NISW Program Coordinator, and one NISW Program Assistant in Winnipeg. NISWs are hosted in 7 Neighbourhood Host Organizations, covering 10 areas of Winnipeg Each NISW has unique programs and neighbourhood needs.
3 Neighbourhood Immigrant Settlement Program Program Objectives Provide ongoing settlement support in newcomers communities to facilitate their initial transition and long-term integration into Canadian society. Engage community in welcoming newcomers.

26 About Family Dynamics Family Dynamics NISW Family Dynamics (formerly known as The Family Centre of Winnipeg). Accredited not-for-profit, community-based agency registered as a charity. Dedicated to strengthening families and building healthy supportive communities. Family Dynamics is host to four NISWs. NISWs are housed by different agencies : Resource centres, Access Centres and schools. This accommodation has provided a platform for NISW work with Refugees and Immigrants. We work with schools and Resource centres
