3 Article 6: Right to liberty and security: Everyone has the right to liberty and security of person In the past five years, the percentage of people who were attacked or threatened with violence in the EU varied from 17% of the asked in Luxembourg to 39% in Lithuania, with an average of 26%. On average, 9% of these attacks happened at home. In Germany, 81% of these incidents weren t reported, 18% of them because the victims were too embarrassed. Averagely, 53% of the interviewed people said that they avoid holding hands in public with a same-sex partner out of fear of being harassed Page 3

An average of 28% experienced discrimination at school because od being LGBT+. Averagely 50% of transgender people feel discriminated or harassed because they are transgender. Page 14
