OPEN SESSION 1. Call To Order 2. Roll Call 3. Approval and Adoption of the Agenda September 8, 2015 Agenda. * 4. The Superintendent will introduce guests in attendance at the meeting. 5. Identification of persons wishing to address the Board on items not on the agenda This is an opportunity for the public to direct questions or comments related to school business to the Superintendent/Governing Board concerning matters not on the agenda. No action can be taken by the Superintendent/Governing Board unless the matter is placed on a subsequent agenda. CLOSED SESSION 6. Public Hearing Regarding Charter School Petition Appeal The Board will hold a public hearing under Education Code with respect to a charter school petition appeal from Ross Valley Charter. * CONSENT AGENDA 9. Approval of Minutes August 18, 2015 Meeting Minutes. * 10. Gifts The acceptance of gifts that have been received by the Marin County Office of Education. * 11. Temporary Certificates A request for approval of Temporary Certificates for applicants who have been screened and found to meet all requirements. * 12. Personnel Report Staff will announce any resignations/retirements/terminations of Marin County Office of Education personnel. * 13. Employment of Personnel New employees are presented. * 14. Leave of Absence The leave of absence on the attached is submitted for Superintendent/Governing Board approval. * MARIN COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS REPORTS 15. Superintendent's Remarks This is an opportunity for the Superintendent to comment on educational activities and to announce upcoming events. 16. Opening Day Highlights Staff will provide highlights regarding opening day enrollments for Marin County Office of Education student programs. Staff 17.
