8 Woodbridge JCL Candidate Agreement Form I,, do hereby agree to follow all conditions as set forth in this packet and in the JCL Constitution. I understand that if I do not meet the candidate requirements that are stated in the JCL Consitution, that I will not be allowed to interview for an office. I further understand that violating any rules, and therefore breaking this Agreement, will result in my disqualification from participation in this year s interview process. I understand that any sponsor, and only a sponsor, after having consulted with appropriate parties invovled, may make an exception for any candidate including myself, in regard to a violation of any requirements. Therefore, a sponsor may allow myself, or another candidate, to continue to run for office even though a rule violation may have occurred. I kow that no current officer or other JCL member may make an exception, regardless of the office held. I further agree to report an rule violations that I witness during the elections to a Sponsor and, if necessary, the current JCL President or JCL Vice-President. I understand that a failure to report a rule violation may result in my disqualification. If appointed, I understand that I must uphold the Constitution and all the amendments that pass. I further understand that I must report any officer neglecting their duties to the Sponsor and, if necessary, President and Vice-President. I also understand, having read all of the requirements and duties of an officer as expressed in the Constitution. I further understand that even if I am appointed to an office, that if I am proven to have violated any rules, JCL By-Laws, or direct instruction of a sponsor, that I will be removed from office. If I am to be appointed I am responsible for attending an officer training meeting before the end of the current school year, attending all mandatory officer planning meetings over the summer, all mandatory officer bonding events over the summer or during the school year, every lunch time board meeting, SCRAM, State Convention, and the end-of-the-year JCL Banquet. I know that if I fail to attend that it will result in impeachment and possible removal from office. I understand that if I become an officer, that if I miss more than the specified amount of lunch board meetings, that I will be removed from office, I further understand that an impeachment is different from removal. Impeachment is the process by which an officer is reported for violating a rule, failing to uphold the JCL Constitution, or neglect of duties to a sponsor, not an officer. The sponsor will then make the decision, after meeting with other sponsors and necessary officers, whether to hold a vote among the current JCL Board, by which a 2/3 rd majority will remove the officer in question from office. By signing this form, I (the candidate) hereby agree to the all conditions set forth in the Candidate pakcet, requirements and this Candidate Agreement; I agree to attend the Pre-Interview Workshop, and understand that failure to comply with any of the aforementioned will result in my disqualification.
