PRELIMINARIES 1.1 Meeting was called to order by Board President Mike Lewis at 6:02 p.m. 1.2 Attendance Trustees present included Mike Lewis, Phyllis Harmon, Cirila Mora, Joe Machado, and Leandro Sanchez Absent: None School Officials present included Mrs. Terri Lancaster, Superintendent/Principal and Mrs. Loretta Myers, Business Manager 1.3 Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mike Lewis 1.3(a) Invocation was led by Joe Machado 1.4 Presentation of guests: None 1.5 Approval of minutes On a motion by Joe Machado and a second by Cirila Mora, the board voted to approve the minutes of the January 14, 2019 board meeting. 1

2 1.6 Approval of agenda On a motion by Joe Machado and a second by Phyllis Harmon, the board voted to approve the agenda. II. BUSINESS 2.0 Correspondence: All correspondence was distributed to the board members. 2.1 Public Comments: None pay 2.2 Bills On a motion by Joe Machado and a second by Leandro Sanchez, the board voted to the bills. 2.3 Transfer Requests Release/Renewals: 1. New Traditional Transfer Requests: None Meetings 2. New CA District of Choice Requests: April and May 2.4 Trip Requests: 1. 8 th Grade Trip, May 1 3, On a motion by Leandro Sanchez and a second by Cirila Mora, the board voted to approve the 8 th Grade Trip, May 1-3, 2

Friday Night Live Lip Sync Contest April, 2019 On a motion by Leandro Sanchez and a second by Phyllis Harmon, the board voted to approve Friday Night Live Lip Sync Field Trip Contest March 29, th Grade Pancake Breakfast March 3rd: Informational Only 2.6 Eighth Grade Financial Statement Informational Only 2.7 Migrant Summer School 2019: Home Base Informational Only 2.8 Budget Revisions On a motion by Joe Machado and a second by Cirila Mora, the board voted to approve the Budget Revision. 2.9 Form 700: Statement of Economic Interest (Conflict of Interest) The Board Members were provided the appropriate forms for completion C.S.B.A. Delegate Selection: the On a motion by Joe Machado and a second by Cirila Mora, the board voted to accept panel as presented. 3

4 School Calendar On a motion by Joe Machado and a second by Leandro Sanchez, the board voted to approve the School Calendar as corrected Waukena Lynx Yearbook Ad Informational 2.13 As of 1/01/19 Increase in Mileage Rate.545 to.58: Informational 2.14 Safe Drinking Water for Schools Grant On a motion by Leandro Sanchez and a second by Phyllis Harmon, the board voted to approve the Safe Drinking Water for Schools Grant LCAP Input, Status, and Discussion 2.16 School Property Fourteen Acres Lease Superintendent Lancaster updated the board progress toward fulfilling the majority of actions in our plan. Several actions which require excessive costs on the district side are being considered for movement under modernization funds. The Superintendent shared the draft copy of the property lease. The lease will be mailed to Mr. Valov for perusal. 4

5 2.17 Fire Marshall Inspection Results - The Superintendent updated the results of the last Fire Inspection Production Well Status (Prop 84) and System Inspection Construction Production Well. The Superintendent informed the Board that the District has received approval from State Waterboards to begin the Application for the 2.19 CM Construction Management Services The Superintendent stated that a consultation was provided by CM Construction Services. When funding is awarded for Modernization, CM Construction Services would be interested in providing an estimate for their services. BREAK II. CLOSED SESSION The board entered into Closed Session at 7:40 p.m. 3.0 Student Matters Student 8010, 8009, Personnel Matters III.
