I attended Work Session, as well as meetings with Amy Johnson, Alex Stutzman, Stacey, and Morgan Foster and talked with Francisco Flores about legislation in Olympia. I also was able to discuss Lobby Day with a number of students on campus. Plan for Next Week: Next week I will attend President s Cabinet and discuss ASEWU s involvement with the rest of the leadership for the university. Special Elections are also taking place, as is a student forum on how to get more involved with ASEWU. Office Hours: 7.5 Total Hours: 23.5

I also met with this ASEWU PR Specialist, Connor Rose, to discuss some ideas on the ASEWU s goal of visibility and how we can improve the student engagement at council meetings. I also met with the PUB Steering Committee and Dr. Amy Johnson. This week we rescheduled the work session and council meeting times due to unforeseen circumstances, but they have been rescheduled and prepared to be made up. Due to these circumstances I also was unable to attend my office hours Tuesday, but am planning to make them up next week. Plan for next week: Next week I plan to attend the meeting with the EWU President s Cabinet, meet with Stacey Reece, assist at the Legislative tabling, and chair the PUB Advisory Board (SUBOC). I attended the Clubs and Orgs Meeting to let everyone attending knows I was there to answer questions as well as promote the upcoming special elections. I then met with Sam Armstrong to discuss S&A Committee items and prepare the upcoming meeting. I was able to sit in on the discussion for the final selection of the AVP of IT and attend the rescheduled work session. I also was able to have my second S&A meeting where I was voted to serve as chair. Plan for Next Week: I will be having my third S&A committee meeting next week which we will continue the long process. We will start voting on supplemental funding requests as well as discuss some of the budget requests for next year. I will also be attending the meeting with EWU s Presidents Cabinet and the rescheduled council meeting. Office Hours: 9 Total Hours: 17.5

I was however able to attend multiple meetings, tabling s, and even host our own event in the past week. Plan for next week: Next week for me is a pretty typical week filled with several court meetings, bylaw meetings, committee meetings, the president s cabinet meeting, legislative tabling sessions, ASEWU Council, and my one-on-one meeting with Stacey Reece. 5 J E V I O N K N O X, ACADEMIC AFFAIRS Office Hour (1 Hour) EWU Symposium ( 1 Hour) Academic Senate ( 2 Hours) Office Hour ( 1 Hour) Meeting with Kim Davis ( 1 Hour) Clubs and Orgs Fair ( 30 Minutes) Office Hour ( 1 Hour) ASEWU Work Session (2 Hours) Office Hour ( 3 Hours) Week at a Glance: This week I was able to finalize registration for the Winter Quarter Resource Fair. I was also able to speak with Kim Davis regarding my position and student concerns with faculty members. For now, I was instructed that letting students know about the Office of Equal opportunity if they feel they are not being treated fairly by instructors is the best way to establish a working relationship regarding the issue. Plan for Next Week: Next week will be the Winter Quarter Resource Fair! I will also be contacting the Dean of CALE, to meet with him and discuss issues involving the Writing Center. Office Hours: 6 Total Hours: 12.5

This includes meeting with the SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Council) along with Jim Fitzgerald. As a Committee we focused in on a set date to hand out Sexual Assault Awareness gear and release the video. This will be preferably at the same Home Basketball game towards the end of their Season. Plan for Next Week: Meet with Jim Fitzgerald, who is also one of my advisors. Attend the rescheduled work Session. Tentatively attend the Presidents event on diversity titled #Me Too. Office Hours: 7.5 Total Hours: 11

I was also able to contact Kim Davis and Dr. Clarke about using the mattress ASEWU procured for our own #MeToo event at the President s Dialog on Diversity that will be held next week. Plan for Next Week: Next week will be a very busy week, with the PDOD, PCOD, R&P, President s Cabinet meeting, ASEWU Council Meeting, and the NSLDC conference. Office Hours: 7.5 Total Hours: 9.5

No activity Week at a Glance: Work session was canceled and rescheduled, so I did not attend Council Meeting this week. Additionally I missed the GAC meeting this week due to a severe migraine. This week I researched and found a draft MOU I can use to model the food pantry MOU with. I Met with Jessica Berwick from Career Services to follow up with for multiple events for this quarter. I met with the Spokane Violence Prevention Committee. I researched a conference that I am interested in attending. I met with Brajee Green, from WSU. WSU has established a larger space for the food pantry. Plan for Next Week: I will follow up with NAGPS rep. I will be meeting with Brajee Green. And I will be attending ASWSU executive meeting, attending ASEWU council meeting and I will be meeting with Roberta Brooke, the Director of Graduate Affairs. 9 B E N J A M I N R OWE, L E G I S L A T I V E A F F A I R S Saturday: ASEWU Winter Retreat (12 hours) Sunday: Attended Pi Lambda Phi, Phi Delta Theta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Gamma Alpha Omega, and Sigma Lambda Beta Chapter meetings advertising for lobby day (2 Hours) Office Hours (1 Hour) Pearce Hall Tabling (2 Hours) Took minutes at Food Services Committee (1 Hour) Office Hours (1 ½ Hours) City Of Cheney Council Meeting (1/2 Hour) Office Hours (3 1/2 Hours) Meeting with Geoff Bracken (30 Minutes) Clubs and Organizations fair (30 Minutes) Office Hours (2 Hours) Work Session (2 Hours) Office Hours (1 Hour) Snyamncut Tabling (1 ½ Hours) Week at a Glance: This week I met with Greek chapters and the clubs and orgs fair to advertise for lobby day, I have also left flyers at the eagle mart. I submitted 6 Student Legislative Action Committee Applications, Spoke with Francisco Flores about legislative session; I informed students to call legislators, gathered student stories and advertised for lobby day in the tabling events in Pearce and synamncut hall. Along with this I attended the ASEWU winter retreat, spoke individually with a student interested in SLAC. Plan for Next Week: Next week I will continue advertising for lobby day and will schedule more legislative tabling events for the residence halls that I have not yet reached. Along with this, I will reach out to different organizations on campus regarding lobby day and our current need for student stories. I
10 will also plan how the Student Legislative Action Committee will hold its formal voting as well as the future for the committee. Office Hours: 9 Total Hours: 31

I was able to attend the work session that was rescheduled for Thursday and was able to hold office hours on Friday Then I attended a campus-hosted concert. Plan for Next Week: Attend an RHA Meeting, Attend an Eagle Entertainment meeting and promote the upcoming concerts on campus by receiving the list of upcoming performances. From this, I realized that my bylaws need to be updated so I started working on those. I also attending the food service committee so gain a better understanding of student s food concerns. During my office hours I began planning the butt pickup event Plan for next week: I will still be working on events for the AlA grant. I want to finalize details before the butt pickup event. I will also be contacting different departments to discuss the tobacco policy. On Monday, I will be a panelist at Presidents dialogue of diversity. I also have the SHAC and R&P meeting Office Hours: 8 Total Hours: 12
13 K E N N E D Y B A I L E Y, STUDENT S E R V I C E Office Hours (6 hours) Food Services Committee Meeting (1 hour) Office Hours (3.20 hours) Bylaw Review (30 minutes) Office Hours (2 hours) ASEWU Work Session (2 hours) No activity Week at a Glance: This week started out with planning for my food services committee meeting and the ASEWU Student Forum event on Wednesday. The food services committee met to talk about how would we want to gather new information on what students are confused on and why they are becoming confused because dining feels that they put out all the information needed but students are saying they are confused so we discussed where this committee could maybe look at bringing the two groups together and trying to find the solution to the disconnect. There was talk about surveying students at certain food locations on campus for certain days or ing out a survey. The ASEWU student forum did not happen on Wednesday as planned but it was rescheduled to February 7 th at 4pm-5pm and the location is still pending approval. I also talked about my bylaws and what exactly I am going to work to change them in the next couple weeks with my court individual who is Teddy Mead. We spoke about the Childcare Advisory Board and how we could look at remodeling the bylaws to where I sit on that committee as a voting member and the director of the Childcare would chair it but that is still in the drafting stages. Plan for next week: Next week I will be meeting with Samantha Armstrong to go over details about my student transportation fee committee and help me gather numbers for budget and how to properly request that for the committee to be able to utilize. I will also be reprinting posters and flyers and getting the word out to more people about the forum changing dates and the importance of getting students there to talk to ASEWU. I started the week off well and helped ben lobby for lobby day where we take students who want to be involved over to the capital. This is a great experience to talk and learn about all the laws that are being talked about and a great way to ask legislatures questions or concerns you may have. Travel and hotel is free, students would only be responsible for two meals! We also had a great work session and talked about approving a lot of money for the clubs that came and spoke to us. We will be discussing and approving them all next Thursday! Plan for Next Week: My plan next week is to meet with my mentor and work with Jake Croshaw Office Hours: 4 Total Hours: 8

But I was able to work from home and then when I was able to come into the office I was able to compile the all of the weekly documents and then send them to the members of ASEWU. I also had the opportunity to meet with Jake Croshaw and discuss ideas for an advertisement for an event idea that my group had during the Winter Retreat. Then I was able to prep the agenda for the rescheduled work session and then I was able to take minutes at the meetings and speak with a few of the club members who were attending to request funding. Plan for Next Week: My plan for next week is to finish up my monthly report and then proof read all of the member s monthly reports as well for the reporting on Thursday. I will be attending the #Metoo: What s Next event, the Winter Quarter Resource Fair, the SHAC committee meeting, and the Sustainability Committee meeting. Then I also hope to meet with my mentor Dollie. Office Hours: 6 Total Hours: 8.5
