Essential Questions: 1. Why do Nations go to war? 2. How did Americans react to rapid social, political, and cultural change in the 1920 s? 3. To what extent did WWI influence American society and foreign policy? 4. To what extent were the 1920 s a clash between tradition and modern ideas? 5. How and why did the Great Depression expand the role of the federal government? Differentiated Instruction: Materials must address all levels of learning and learning styles of students in the classroom. Strategies for successfully implementing instruction can be differentiated on three general areas. These areas include: 1. The content of instruction 2. The processes and techniques used to help make sense of a given topic 3. The products produced by students that demonstrate their learning
