3 1 Welcome, Reminders, and Introductions Mr. Ivan Chen (TSMC) called the meeting to order at 15:30. The meeting reminders on antitrust issues, intellectual property issues and holding meetings with international attendance were reviewed. Attendees introduced themselves. Attachment: SEMI Meeting Reminder, 2 Review of Previous The TC Chapter reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting. Of note: None, Attachment: EU I&C November 2016 v1, 3.3 I&C Japan TC Chapter -- Dean reported for the I&C Japan TC Chapter. Of note: The TC Chapter authorized for publication to add the compliance table as R1-8 to Related Information 1 of SEMI E170, and subsequent approval by both the GCS and the ISC A&R SC. Of note: SEMI Global 2017 Calendar of Events 2017 Critical Dates for SEMI Standards Ballots SEMI HQ Information SEMI CEO Retirement New President of SEMI Americas HQ Office Relocation JA TC Chapter of Global I&C Committee/GEM 300 Task Force draft the SEMI Doc. #6092 CUARAM Centralized User Authentication & Role Authorization Management and would like to get the feedback from other TC Chapter region. Attachment: Staff Report , 4 Ballot Review NOTE 1: TC Chapter adjudication on ballots reviewed is detailed in the Audits & Review (A&R) Subcommittee Forms for procedural review. The A&R forms are available as attachments to these minutes. The attachment number for each balloted document is provided under each ballot review section below. None 5 Subcommittee and Task Force Reports 5.1 GEM300 TF Report -- Dean reported for the GEM300Task Force. This report contained information on the comment for SEMI Doc. #6092 CUARAM. For off-line operations, the user identity information cached in equipment locally should be protected, for example, with encryption. CUARAM server can provide the interface to sync with other user account DB, e.g. MES or Windows AD user accounts. CUARAM server can provide the operation activity logs for remote controls, in addition to log-on logs. The user account passwords in CUARAM are changeable and protected with strong password rules, or adopt Windows AD rules. SEMI Staff will sent these comment to Global I&C Committee JP TC Chapter/GEM 300 Task Force 5.2 Backend Factory Integration TF -- Kevin Chiu reported for the Backend Factory Integration Task Force. This report contained information on new SNARF. New SNARF Specification of Backend Die Traceability for 2 weeks global members review. Comment from STMicroelectronics: adding this schema extension to E142 Agreed by STMicroelectronics on Nov. 14, 2016 I&C Committee Taiwan TC Chapter 4 January 6, 2017

5 6 Old Business 6.1 Study the Standards of Information Security topic (ongoing) 6.2 Abandon to set up PCB Equipment Communication Interfaces TF in I&C TC Proposal to set up a new Task Force: PCB Equipment Communication Interfaces TF for Printed Circuit Board industry on Sept. 9, 2016 (last TC meeting). PCB is currently out of the charter of Global Information & Control Committee, and the TFOF or SNARF for PCB under I&CC is invalid. We have to abandon to set up this TF in I&C TC 7 New Business 7.1 New SNARF Completed the feedback of New SNARF Specification of Backend Die Traceability from the I&C global TC members and will submitted this draft to TC for approval. Motion: By / 2 nd : Discussion: Vote: Approve to submit this SNARF to HQ to get the Document number Jack Huang (Flagship) / David Chiu (Atotech) After discussion, all TC members agreed to approve it Motion passed SEMI Staff will submit this SNARF to HQ to get the Document number. 7.2 Information Security Seminar Theme: New Concept of Information Security Management for High Tech Manufacturing Seminar Venue : Room 202 No.2, Zhanye 1st Rd., East Dist., Hsinchu City 300, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
