APPLICATION OF TARIFF This tariff contains the rules, regulations, descriptions and rates applicable to the furnishing of tariffed Intrastate Telecommunications Services offered by MCI and participating carriers within the State of California. Effective August 1, 2001, pursuant to the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), MCI is canceling its federal tariffs for services with certain exceptions, including those pertaining to exchange access, casual calling, and basic long distance service during a 45-day period for customers who sign up for MCI service with a Local Exchange Carrier (LEC).
