3 Attachment 1: Work Program PROPOSED WORK PROGRAM FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES 1. Research what other jurisdictions are doing in terms of regulations, guidelines design, and location requirements. Completed (see attached Exhibit A) 2. Contact all industry representatives and request a data base and/or map of all existing facilities. A map has been created with some of the major carriers (ATT, Verizon,. As of the report staff still had no information from Sprint, T Mobile, Clearwire, or Metro PCS 3. Contact City s RF Engineer for Information/Education. Completed and will attend the Planning Commission Hearing (September 8, ) 4. Coordinate with industry representatives to put on a joint presentation for the Planning Commission discussing how locations are selected, current and future technology specifically related to antennas. Presenting at the Planning Commission Hearing (September 8, ) 5. Follow up meeting with Planning Commission to report back on all information and for further direction. September PC hearing 3
