4 March - Tackle the Terrific Twos Webinar, Ohio Library Council March - Leadership for Unofficial Leaders presentation, Power Up Conference Dawn Wacek State: Past Chair WAPL Up for election in YSS on Chair Elect position: 3 year commitment Presenting this year on fines and forgiveness programs Ms. Krieg-Sigman noted that the Wisconsin Library Association s 2018 conference will be held in La Crosse next October. 5.2 Committee Reports 5.21 Personnel & Budget Trial with Parks & Rec Department Approval to Move Forward Motion to move forward with trial between the Parks & Rec Department and the Library Library Operations (Jodi Ehrenberger / Gary Padesky) Carried Revision to Meeting Room Policy Motion to revise the current meeting room policy as follows: The meeting room spaces at La Crosse Public Library will be available free of charge to any non-profit organization, PROVIDED that said organization provide formal documentation of their non-profit status, such as a 501(c) (3) document. 5 6. OLD BUSINESS Budget Specific changes in hours will be further discussed by committees and voted on at a future board meeting. Motion to proceed with hiring process for two library assistants and one library clerk to meet the needs of expanded hours to 40/hours per week at the branches effective early 2018 pending approval of library budget for (Suzanne Anglehart / Jodi Ehrenberger) Carried 6.2 Book Drop / CM Proposed Move After brief discussion, this item was tabled until the next meeting. 7.
