Some decisions of the Planning Commission are appealable and anyone dissatisfied with the decision of the Planning Commission of these items may file an appeal to the Board of Supervisors. An appeal

2 must be filed within 15 calendar days after the Commission makes its decision. All appeals must be submitted to the Planning Office accompanied by a nonrefundable filing fee. Persons wishing to address the Commission on a regularly scheduled item on the agenda are requested to complete a request to speak form and place it in the tray located near the speaker's podium for the purpose of the record. Individual speakers will be called to the podium by the Chair and are requested to limit their comments to two minutes, or as directed by the Chairperson. Groups of speakers on a specific item are asked to limit their total presentation to a maximum of five minutes for each side of the issue, or as directed by the Chairperson. The consent calendar consists of matters that are routine in nature, requiring only acceptance of written reports by the Commission. Items of specific interest of the Commission members may be removed from the consent calendar for questions or discussion. If you wish to discuss any of the consent calendar items, please request that the item be removed from the consent calendar by completing a Request to Speak form and placing it in the basket at the front of the room.
