Please note: To obtain a copy of any available supporting document, contact the Planning Office at (408) Either the project applicant or a representative should be present at the hearing. Other interested parties are also encouraged to attend. Written comments should be submitted prior to the scheduled hearing date. Some decisions of the Planning Commission are appealable and anyone dissatisfied with the decision of the Planning Commission of these items may file an appeal to the Board of Supervisors. An appeal

2 must be filed within 15 calendar days after the Commission makes its decision. All appeals must be submitted to the Planning Office accompanied by a nonrefundable filing fee. Persons wishing to address the Commission on a regularly scheduled item on the agenda are requested to complete a request to speak form and place it in the tray located near the speaker's podium for the purpose of the record. Individual speakers will be called to the podium by the Chair and are requested to limit their comments to two minutes, or as directed by the Chairperson. Groups of speakers on a specific item are asked to limit their total presentation to a maximum of five minutes for each side of the issue, or as directed by the Chairperson. The consent calendar consists of matters that are routine in nature, requiring only acceptance of written reports by the Commission. Items of specific interest of the Commission members may be removed from the consent calendar for questions or discussion. If you wish to discuss any of the consent calendar items, please request that the item be removed from the consent calendar by completing a Request to Speak form and placing it in the basket at the front of the room. An audio recording of the meeting will be made available to the public the day following the meeting on the Planning Office website at Go to Commissions and Programs, Planning Commission. After 12:00 p.m. on the day prior to the meeting, and up until the start of the meeting, any supplemental materials received will be made available to the Commission in Supplemental Packets and to the public in a Public Packet located at the rear of Chambers. COMMUTE ALTERNATIVES: The County encourages the use of commute alternatives including bicycles, carpooling, and hybrid vehicles. Public transmit access is available to and from the County Government Center, 70 W. Hedding St., San Jose, California by VTA bus lines *61, 62, 66, 181, and Light Rail. (*61 Southbound last trip is at 8:55 p.m. for this location.)
