I'd like to 4 read an opening statement: 5 This is to advise the general public 6 that in compliance with Chapter 231 of the 7 public laws of 1975 entitled "Senator Bryon M. 8 Baer Open Public Meeting Act," the New Jersey 9 Casino Control Commission on December 11, 2013, 10 filed with the Secretary of State at the State 11 House in Trenton an annual meeting schedule. 12 On December 11, 2013, copies were mailed to 13 subscribers. 14 Members of the press will be permitted 15 to take photographs. The Commission 24 remanded her to the contested hearing case 25 process last year. And after that was done, 17 1 ITEM NO. 8 2 she did not request a hearing. 3 The matter was scheduled to be -- her 4 matter was rescheduled to result in a 5 revocation, at which point Miss Santiago 6 contacted the Commission. That had been the 7 basis of the Division's objection. She then 8 was in contact with the Division. From our 9 understanding, the Commission completed its 10 investigation, sent it back to the Commission 11 asking that it going to the contested case 12 hearing process. 13 Miss Santiago did not a request a 14 hearing on that, and now the matter is before 15 you for consideration to deny her resubmission 16 application and revoke her key employee 17 license. 18 CHAIR LEVINSON: Thank you. 19 Division? 20 MR. FAUNTLEROY: Thank you. 4 Item No. 9 is the consideration of the 5 initial application of Jennifer R. Fortucci for 6 a casino key employee license. 7 Miss Pimpinelli will review that with 8 you as well. 9 MS. PIMPINELLI: Chairman and 10 Commissioners, this matter was remanded to the 11 contested case hearing process. After Miss 12 Fortucci received the Commission's letter, she 13 reached out to the Division, provided the 14 missing information, and the Division 15 subsequently filed a supplemental report 16 indicating that it had no more objections to 17 her application and recommending that the 18 Commission grant the applications. 19 It is now before you for your 20 consideration. 21 CHAIR LEVINSON: Thank you very much. 22 Division? 23 MR. BISCIEGLIA: Thank you. 24 Based upon Miss Pimpinelli's explanation 25 of the matter, the Division agrees with it, and 21 1 ITEM NO MS. Mr. 10 Chairman, I'd like to read a draft resolution 11 of the New Jersey Casino Control Commission 12 acknowledging March as a "Problem Gambling 13 Awareness Month." 14 Whereas, problem gambling is a 15 significant public health issue affecting New 16 Jersey residents of all ages, racial, and 17 ethnic backgrounds, and which has a significant 18 societal and economic cost; 19 And, whereas, problem gambling affects 20 individuals' families, work places, and the 21 community; 22 And, whereas, informing and educating 23 the public how to "navigate problem gambling" 24 through recognition of problem gambling as an 25 addiction, pointing out signs and symptoms,

10 22 1 ITEM NO exploring the impact of problem gambling, 3 addressing how to gamble responsibly, and how 4 to identify problem gambling behavior, and 5 understanding the role of it -- of the help 6 line, gambling counselors, and Gamblers 7 Anonymous is invaluable to minimizing the harm 8 to individuals, their families, and society as 9 a whole; 10 And, whereas, the Commission works 11 together with the Council on Compulsive 12 Gambling of New Jersey to promote awareness of 13 problem gambling issues and of its 24-hour help 14 line, GAMBLER; 15 And, whereas, New Jersey's Division of 16 Gaming Enforcement offers a self-exclusion 17 program that allows problem gamblers to exclude 18 themselves from Atlantic City's casinos and 19 requires casinos to cease any marketing 20 activity to self-excluded individuals; 21 And, whereas, Governor Chris Christie 22 has designated March 2014 as Problem Gambling 23 Awareness Month in the State of New Jersey; 24 Now therefor be it resolved that the 25 Casino Control Commission supports the goals 23 1 ITEM NO and ideals of Problem Gambling Awareness Month 3 and hereby expresses its gratitude for the 4 contribution and ongoing efforts of the Council 5 on Compulsive Gambling. 6 Be it further resolved that this 7 resolution be placed in the record as 8 commemoration of our support and appreciation. 9 And now, Mr. Chairman, I move that we 10 adopt this draft resolution. 11 CHAIR LEVINSON: Thank you very much. 12 Is there a second? 13 VICE CHAIR HARRINGTON: I'll second 14 that. 15 CHAIR LEVINSON: Any discussion? 16 You know, I would just like to say one 17 unintended side effects of gambling is 18 compulsive gambling. And all of us who make a 19 living from the existence of gambling here have 20 to be concerned about people who cannot gambled 21 responsibly. 22 Every year the Council sponsors a 23 Problem Gaming Awareness Month to increase the 24 public awareness of this problem, and we up 25 here applaud their efforts, and we are proud to 24 1 ITEM NO work with them. 3 So thank you. 4 All those in favor? 5 (Ayes.) 6 CHAIR LEVINSON: Opposed? 7 (No response.) 8 CHAIR LEVINSON: Motion carries. 9 MS. Kreeger to continue to exercise 13 the powers of President and Chief Operating 14 Officer for Revel Entertainment Group, LLC, and 15 Revel AC, Inc., and for an extension of his 16 temporary casino key employee license. 17 Senior Counsel Olivo will present the 18 matter for your consideration. 19 MS. OLIVO: Thank you. 20 This is a request of extended temporary 21 qualification and temporary key license of 22 Scott Kreeger to June the 12th of 2014 to allow 23 the Division to complete their investigation. 24 I did a draft resolution. I did 25 circulate it ITEM NO Mr. Adams is here from the Division, and 3 Mr. Jackson is here from Fox Rothschild for the 4 Petitioners. 5 CHAIR LEVINSON: Thank you very much. 6 Mr. Jackson, do you have anything to 7 say? 8 MR. JACKSON: Good morning, Mr. 9 Chairman, Commissioners. I'd like to enter my 10 appearance. Harry Jackson from Fox Rothschild 11 on behalf of Revel Entertainment Group, LLC, 12 and Revel AC, Inc. 13 We are here to request an extension of 14 Mr. Scott Kreeger's temporary qualification and 15 his temporary casino key employee license. 16 Mr. -- by way of background, Mr. Kreeger 17 is the President and Chief Operating Officer of 18 Revel Entertainment Group and Revel AC. Revel 19 Entertainment Group, LLC, is a casino licensee 20 and the operator of the Revel Casino Hotel here 21 in Atlantic City. 22 On July 2nd, 2013, the Commission 23 granted Mr. Kreeger a temporary casino key 24 employee license. That expiration date on that 25 license is April 2nd, Also on July 10th,

11 26 1 ITEM NO , the Commission granted Mr. Kreeger a 3 temporary qualification to serve as Interim 4 Chief Operating Officer for Revel.
