The lists are organized by committee, and sorted by seniority. Included in this document are: House Committee on Science, Space, & Technology House Committee on Appropriations House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence House Armed Services Committee House Committee on Homeland Security House Committee on Foreign Affairs Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation Senate Committee on Appropriations Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Senate Armed Services Committee Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Senate Committee on Foreign Relations Others This document identifies the outcomes of the 2012 U.S. congressional elections. Races that are too close to call will be updated appropriately in the future. An Excel spreadsheet version of this document can also be accessed on the Space Foundation website at: Please note: When someone defeats an incumbent or takes an open seat from a retiring member it does NOT mean they will be automatically seated on the same committee of jurisdiction as their predecessor. In the coming months we will update this document as members are seated on committees with jurisdiction over space policy and/or have space-related constituencies. About the Space Foundation The foremost advocate for all sectors of the space industry and an expert in all aspects of space, the Space Foundation is a global, nonprofit leader in space awareness activities, educational programs that bring space into the classroom and major industry events, including the National Space Symposium, all in support of its mission "to advance space-related endeavors to inspire, enable and propel humanity."
