AT THE ROCKWALL COUNTY HISTORIC COURTHOUSE, 101 EAST RUSK, 3 rd FLOOR, CITY OF ROCKWALL, TEXAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE FOLLOWING: A) INVOCATION; Commissioner Gilbert B) EDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE AMERICAN FLAG; Commissioner Sevier C) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE TEXAS FLAG; Commissioner Sevier D) RECOGNITION OF GUESTS; AGENDA 1. PUBLIC FORUM: (This is the public s opportunity to address the Commissioners Court about County matters. During this meeting, the Commissioners Court will not discuss, consider or take action on any item not included on this meeting s agenda. We respectfully ask that anyone stepping forward to speak during the Public Forum to please limit remarks to three minutes or less.) 2. Discuss/Act on a Proclamation at the request of the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation and the Royse City Community Development Corporation to declare the week of May 8-13, 2017, as Economic Development Week in Rockwall County, and all related issues; (Sweet) 3. Discuss/Act on appointing a representative to be an Alternate Board Member of the STAR Transit Board of Directors, and all related issues; (Magness) 4. Discuss/Act on appointment/re-appointment of members to the Rockwall County Historical Commission, and all related issues; (Magness) 5. Discussion of the Rockwall County Emergency Services Corporation Board s meeting regarding emergency medical services on April 26, 2017, and all related issues; (Sweet) 6. Discuss/Act on approving an Interlocal agreement with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) regarding the radio tower on county property and allow right of access to the Royse City radio tower, and all related issues; (Bailey) 7. Discuss/Act on approving a Local Match Funds Agreement, effective October 1, 2016, with the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA), and all related issues; (Auditor) 8. Discuss/Act on approving an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Fate for two culvert repairs on Blackland Road at an agreed upon cost and available schedule, and all related issues; (Magness) 9. Discuss/Act on proposed layout and cost for maintenance office space renovation, and all related issues; (Compton) 10. Discuss/Act on approving out of state travel for Radio System Administrator Tim Williamson to attend Radio System Training in Lynchburg, Virginia, June 11 th June 17 th 2017, and all related issues; (Auditor)
2 11. Discuss/Act on approving a quote from GTS Technology Solutions to provide hosting and maintenance services for law enforcement training courses, and all related issues; (Auditor) 12. Discuss/Act on updating the Rockwall County Indigent Healthcare Reconsideration and Appeals Procedure, and all related issues; (Gilbert) 13. Discuss/Act on the remediation on the west wing of the Rockwall County Detention Center, and all related issues; (Bailey) 14. Auditor, Acknowledge Sheriff Eavenson attending the graduation of a National Sheriff s Institute training class April 27 th 28th, 2017, in Longmont, CO with all expenses paid by the National Sheriffs Association; g. Auditor, Acknowledge Sheriff Eavenson attending the National Law Enforcement Memorial Services May 12 th 14th, 2017, in Washington, D.C. with expenses paid by the National Sheriffs Association and local seizure funds; 17. PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS/DISPOSITIONS: Discuss/Act on approving the following property acquisitions and dispositions of fixed assets: a. County Sheriff to purchase from Capital Outlay: an estimated cost of $ b. County Sheriff to purchase from Capital Outlay or General Fund Contingency: 8 x 20 dry van an estimated cost of $2, c. County Sheriff transfer to Surplus: 2007 Ford Crown Victoria (VIN 476).
