2 Page 2 BILL NO AN ORDINANCE concerning: Boards, Commissions, and Similar Bodies FOR the purpose of transferring certain provisions relating to the Board of Supervisors of Elections and the referendum to Article 1; repealing provisions relating to the Disabilities Commission, the HIV/AIDS Commission, the Maritime Industry Advisory Board, the Recreational Facilities Revenue Authority, the Scenic and Historic Roads Commission, and the Veterans Affairs Commission; requiring certain provisions in the charter or bylaws of the corporations acting as the County s core service agency, the Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation, the corporation acting as the County s community services corporation, and the Anne Arundel County Workforce Development Corporation; modifying the membership of the Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families; specifying terms for members of the Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families; modifying provisions relating to removal of citizen members of the Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families; requiring the Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families to keep minutes of its meetings, including a record of attendance; requiring the Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families to adopt bylaws and rules of procedure; defining a quorum for the Pension Oversight Commission; specifying the frequency of meetings for the Pension Oversight Commission; requiring the Pension Oversight Commission to keep minutes of its meetings, including a record of attendance; requiring the Pension Oversight Commission to adopt bylaws and rules of procedure; adding provisions relating to the terms and removal of members, appointment of a chair, and frequency of meetings of the Video Lottery Facility Local Development Council; defining a quorum for the Video Lottery Facility Local Development Council; requiring the Video Lottery Facility Local Development Council to keep minutes of its meetings, including a record of attendance; requiring the Video Lottery Facility Local Development Council to adopt bylaws and rules of procedure; providing that members of the Video Lottery Facility Local Development Council shall not be compensated; requiring the Video Lottery Facility Local Development Council to submit an annual report to the County Executive; correcting certain terminology used in Article 3; modifying certain definitions in Article 3; renumbering certain provisions in Article 3; and generally relating to Article 3 and boards and commissions. BILL NO (As Amended) AN ORDINANCE concerning: Administrative Zoning Reclassifications Temporary Moratorium FOR the purpose of establishing a temporary moratorium on administrative zoning reclassifications in Anne Arundel County, Maryland; providing for the application of this Ordinance; and generally relating to zoning. BILL NO (As Amended) AN ORDINANCE concerning: Zoning Administrative Hearings Notices and Signs FOR the purpose of adding a definition of confront ; requiring property owners to provide contact information for certain nearby property owners for notice of Administrative Hearings; increasing the distance requirement for notifying nearby property owners of an application for a variance, special exception, or rezoning; and generally relating to Administrative Hearings. and Mr. Trumbauer BILL NO (As Amended) AN ORDINANCE concerning: Zoning General Provisions General Development Plan Small Area Plans FOR the purpose of designating documents to guide future development of land in and the location of public services and facilities by the County; requiring the General Development Plan to provide for the designation of small area planning areas and the creation of small area plans; requiring small area plans to include specifications for small area planning committees; requiring the Office of Planning and Zoning to work with small area planning committees to create the small area plans; requiring small area plans to be considered in preparing the General Development Plan; and generally relating to zoning.
