2 Bylaw No The Council of the City of Abbotsford, in open meeting assembled, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. CITATION Bylaw No may be cited as Development Application and Service Fee Bylaw, ADMINISTRATIVE FEES (B/L ) Every applicant for an administrative service application shall, at the time of such application, pay the applicable fee prescribed in Schedule A of this bylaw. 3. AGRICULTURAL LAND COMMISSION Every applicant for approval of an Agricultural Land Commission application shall, at the time of such application, pay the applicable fee prescribed in Schedule B of this bylaw. 4. BOARD OF VARIANCE Every applicant that files a notice of appeal under Bylaw No , cited as Board of Variance Bylaw, 2007, shall, at the time of such filing, pay the fee prescribed in Schedule C of this bylaw. 5. DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FEES (B/L ) (a) (b) Every applicant for a permit under the City s Development Application Procedures Bylaw, 2016, shall at the time of such application, pay the applicable fee prescribed in Schedule D of this bylaw. Where a permit includes a requirement to undertake landscaping or other works as a condition of the issue of the permit, the applicant shall pay an inspection fee, as prescribed in Schedule E, to cover the City s cost to determine whether the landscaping of other works requirements of the permit are satisfied. 6. BYLAW AMENDMENT APPLICATION FEES (B/L ) Every applicant for a bylaw amendment application under the City s Development Application Procedures Bylaw, 2016, shall, at the time of such application, pay the applicable fee prescribed in Schedule F of this bylaw.

SUBDIVISION APPLICATION FEES Bylaw No Page 2 Every applicant for approval of a subdivision, including a subdivision application under the Land Title Act, Bare Land Strata Regulations of the Strata Property Act, a phased strata development, or a strata conversion, shall, at the time of such application, pay the applicable fee prescribed in Schedule G of this bylaw. 8. SECOND DWELLING APPLICATION FEES (B/L ) Every person making a second dwelling application shall, at the time pay the applicable fee prescribed in Schedule H of this bylaw. 9. REPEAL Bylaw No , cited as Development Services Application and Service Fee Bylaw, 2004, and all of its amendments, are hereby repealed. In cases where solicitor fees exceed $500, the applicant is responsible for the costs and will be invoiced accordingly.

Applicable Building Permit Application Fees apply. $10,000 letter of credit released if the terms of the covenant are satisfied. Note: no refunds of fees are authorized subsequent to application approval being granted, if the applicant does not construct or install the second dwelling.
