3 1. Welcome Ross (President) addressed the attendees and welcomed; the meeting was opened at 2pm 2. Matters Arising 5. Presidents Report The Presidents report for 2016 was presented by Ross McNeil Sponsors and volunteers thanked The work for the Master's Games of Laurence Sunde, Ian Bulloick. Ron Cheatley, Maurice Mildenhall, & Noel Anderson acknowledged matters regarding the club's finances outlined included the outstanding GST legacy the impact of tyhe velodrome roofing projected noted Motion: That the president s report be tabled and accepted Moved Ross McNeil / Seconded Bill Main / Carried

4 6. Adoption of Annual Accounts The financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2016, were circulated to members prior to the meeting. Treasurer s report was read and attached to these minutes, Motion: That the tabled treasurer s report & interim financial statement be accepted and taken as read Moved Margie Sunde / Seconded Ross McNeil / Carried Discussion Income streams are still low although the club has save considerably on a lower rate and track hire Financial review process and cost discussed - the incoming committee will consider this further 7. 5 10 Membership Fees Moved; That the club subscriptions for 2018 remain unchanged at: Seniors $55 Juniors $30 Associate Member $40 Social member $20 Family membership $95" Moved-Laurence Sunde /seconded Dean Blackwell / Carried 11 General Business Stu Bruce presented a report on the current status of the Velodrome roofing project Built 1995 the current roofing project begun 2015 Memorandum of understanding with Wanganui District Council to be signed off soon Geotech drilling has been completed Ian Murphy raised the issue of the potentials of youth riders wanting opportunities to race and train and askd how the club might be involved in this Stu Bruce reminded us of the importance of our club sponsors, Velo Ronny's, Cycle Sport, Eyes on Victoria, Pita Pitt and the Yellow House. Closure and Thanks President Ross McNeil thanked those present for their attendance and thanked all those who had accepted nominations to official positions before formally declaring the meeting closed.
