ORDERS IN COUNCIL The Provincial Lands Act [O.C. 674/1999] 24 November 1999 TO THE HONOURABLE THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL The undersigned has the honour to report that: 1 Section 3 of The Forest Resources Management Regulations provides, in part, as follows: 3(2) The minister may withdraw land from a provincial forest with the written approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council. (3) Where land is withdrawn from a provincial forest by the minister: (a) the written approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council and the reasons for withdrawing the land are to be published in the Gazette; and (b) the areas described in Part III are deemed to be amended accordingly. 2 Section 27 of The Provincial Lands Act provides, in part, as follows: 27(1) Subject to this Act and any applicable regulations, the minister may sell provincial lands on any terms and conditions that: (a) the minister considers appropriate; and (b) are not inconsistent with any terms and conditions that are prescribed in the regulations. 3 Section 8 of The Resource Lands Regulations, 1989 provides, in part, as follows: 8(1) The minister, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, may sell resource lands in accordance with this section. 4 All requirements of The Resource Lands Regulations, 1989 and any other relevant regulations, all laws in force and any relevant agreements have been fulfilled. 5 It is in the public interest to withdraw from the Northern Provincial Forest the land identified in Schedule A which is required for recreational/residential and commercial purposes. 6 It is advisable and in the public interest to sell the provincial land identified in Schedule A for recreational/residential and commercial purposes to the persons named for the total price of $48, and to complete the necessary documents for title transfer. BOARD ORDERS The Assessment Management Agency Act REPEAL OF ORDER The Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency hereby repeals the Board Order dated December 17, 1997 ordering and directing that: (1) a general revaluation shall be conducted in all municipalities governed by The Rural Municipality Act, 1989; The Urban Municipality Act, 1984; The Northern Municipalities Act; and The Lloydminster Charter for the purpose of establishing assessment rolls for, and to be effective in, the Year 2000; and (2) June 30, 1998 shall be the date for determining the value of land and improvements for the purpose of establishing assessment rolls for the Year 2000 and for each subsequent year preceding the year in which the next revaluation is to be effective; and the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency further orders that June 30, 1998 shall be the date for determining the value of land and improvements for the purpose of establishing assessment rolls for the Year 2001 and for each subsequent year preceding the year in which the next revaluation is to be effective.
