MINISTER S ORDERS The Oil and Gas Conservation Act OTHER AREAS OFF-TARGET WELL MRO 747/95 A 256. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Renaissance Energy Ltd. to drill an off-target oil well located in legal subdivision 4 of Section W3M, subject to the following: 1 The maximum allowable rate of production will be calculated without penalty. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, September 29, COLEVILLE BAKKEN SAND POOL WATERFLOOD MODIFICATION MRO 748/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Phillips Petroleum Company to modify the waterflood project in the Coleville Bakken Sand Pool by completing the well Philips Cole B as a pressure maintenance water injection well, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. P.M. 37 and subject to the following: 1 Installation shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of Saskatchewan Energy and Mines prior to commencement of water injection and subsequent to any modification to such installations. Pursuant to section 17 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, MRO 38/71 PB 17, dated April 22, 1971, is rescinded and the following area is designated and identified as an oil and gas pool named the Suffield Roseray Sand Pool, effective October 1, 1995: Lands west of the Third Meridian: in Township 14, in Range 19: Section 4; the north half of Sections 5 and 6; Sections 7 to 9 and 16 to 18; the south half of Sections 19 and 20. in Township 14, in Range 20: the north-east quarter of Section 1; the south-east quarter of Section 12. SUFFIELD ROSERAY SAND POOL WATERFLOOD PROJECT MRO 750/95. The application submitted by Wascana Energy Inc. to conduct a waterflood project in the Suffield Roseray Sand Pool is approved pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act. Permission is granted to drill two infill oil wells at W3M and W3M, and to construct the facilities and recomplete the wells to be drilled at W3M, W3M, W3M and W3M as pressure maintenance water injection wells, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. P.M. 997 and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of Saskatchewan Energy and Mines prior to commencement of water injection and subsequent to any modification to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kpa. 3 Annual project reports shall be submitted to the Engineering Services Branch of Saskatchewan Energy and Mines. STEELMAN FROBISHER BEDS POOL PRESSURE MAINTENANCE MRO 751/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the application submitted by Midale Petroleums Ltd. for disposing of salt water recovered from oilfield production by injection into the Frobisher Beds through the well Midale et al Steelman is approved, in accordance with plans and specifications filed with the Department as Document No. P.M. 998 and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kilopascals. 3 All injection volumes shall be metered with a Department approved method. This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 2, LOUGHEED MIDALE BEDS POOL PRESSURE MAINTENANCE MRO 752/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the application submitted by Summit Resources Limited for disposing of salt water recovered from oilfield production by injection into the Midale Beds through the well Summit et al Lougheed is approved, in accordance with plans and specifications filed with the Department as Document No. P.M. 999 and subject to the following:

4 1128 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kilopascals. 3 All injection volumes shall be metered with a Department approved method. 4 An application to plugback must be applied for and approved through the Department field office prior to re-completing the above well for salt water disposal. This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. CARNDUFF FROBISHER BEDS POOL HORIZONTAL WELL PROJECT EXPANSION MRO 753/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Vista International Petroleum Ltd. to drill and complete one horizontal well in the Frobisher Beds underlying the south-west quarter of Section W1M, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. H.W. 308 and subject to the following: 1 A maximum allowable rate of production shall be assigned. 2 MRO 155/87 PO 40, dated September 29, 1987, does not apply. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, September 29, HAZELWOOD SOUTH TILSTON BEDS POOL OFF-TARGET WELL MRO 754/95 A 257. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Tri Link Resources Ltd. to drill an off-target oil well located in legal subdivision 8 of Section W2M, subject to the following: 1 The maximum allowable rate of production will be calculated without penalty. WEBB CANTUAR SAND POOL MRO 755/95 PB 45. Pursuant to section 17 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the following area is designated and identified as an oil and gas pool named the Webb Cantuar Sand Pool, effective October 1, 1995: Lands west of the Third Meridian: in Township 14, in Range 16: the south-west and north-west quarters of Section 31; in Township 15, in Range 16: the south-east, south-west and north-east quarters of Section 6; in Township 14, in Range 17: the north-east quarter of Section 35; Section 36. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 2, MRO 756/95 PO 34. Pursuant to section 17 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the following provisions shall apply to the drilling of, and the production of oil and gas from, vertical oil wells in the Webb Cantuar Sand Pool, effective October 1, 1995: 1 The drainage unit shall be comprised of one legal subdivision. 2 Within a drainage unit, the sides of the target area shall be 100 m from and parallel to the corresponding sides of the legal subdivision. 3 If a well is not completed within the target area, the minister may reduce the area used as a factor in determining the MARP. 4(a) For the first well drilled in each Section, the operator shall submit samples of the interval from the top of the Second White Specks to total depth. (b) For all subsequent wells drilled in each Section, the operator shall submit samples from the top of the Mississippian to total depth if such wells are intended to be drilled below the top of the Mississippian System. 5 As a minimum requirement, the operator shall run logs to determine the resistivity, spontaneous potential, porosity and gamma ray spectra from total depth to surface casing shoe for each well drilled. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 2, HAZELWOOD CENTRAL TILSTON BEDS POOL HORIZONTAL WELL PROJECT EXPANSION MRO 757/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Tri Link Resources Ltd. to drill and complete one horizontal well in the Tilston Beds underlying the south half of Section W2M, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. H.W. 152 and subject to the following: 1 A maximum allowable rate of production shall be assigned. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 2, AMULET RATCLIFFE BEDS POOL HORIZONTAL WELL PROJECT EXPANSION MRO 758/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Richland Petroleum Corporation to drill and complete one horizontal well in the Ratcliffe Beds, underlying the south half of Section W2M, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. H.W. 456 and subject to the following: 1 Good production practice is approved. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 2, OTHER AREAS OFF-TARGET WELL MRO 759/95 A 258. Barrington Petroleum Ltd. has submitted an application to drill an exploratory off-target well to verify seismic interpretation. Pursuant to sections 17 and 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, permission is granted to drill an off-target well to produce from the Dina formation located in legal subdivision 5 of Section W3M, subject to the following: 1 Good production practice is approved. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, September 29, MRO 760/95 A 259. Barrington Petroleum Ltd. has submitted an application to drill an exploratory off-target well to verify seismic interpretation. Pursuant to sections 17 and 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, permission is granted to drill an off-target well to produce from the Dina formation located in legal subdivision 5 of Section W3M, subject to the following: 1 Good production practice is approved. 5 OCTOBER 13, ANTELOPE LAKE SOUTH ROSERAY SAND POOL MRO 762/95 PB 46. Pursuant to section 17 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the following area is designated and identified as an oil and gas pool named the Antelope Lake South Roseray Sand Pool, effective October 1, 1995: Lands in Township 14, in Range 18, west of the Third Meridian: the north-west quarter of Section 29 and the south-west quarter of Section 32. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 3, MRO 763/95 PO 35. Pursuant to section 17 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the following provisions shall apply to the drilling of, and the production of oil and gas from, vertical oil wells in the Antelope Lake South Roseray Sand Pool, effective October 1, 1995: 1 The drainage unit shall be comprised of one legal subdivision. 2 Within a drainage unit, the sides of the target area shall be 100 m from and parallel to the corresponding sides of the legal subdivision. 3 If a well is not completed within the target area, the minister may reduce the area used as a factor in determining the MARP. 4(a) For the first well drilled in each Section, the operator shall submit samples of the interval from the top of the Second White Specks to total depth. (b) For all subsequent wells drilled in each Section, the operator shall submit samples from the top of the Mississippian to total depth if such wells are intended to be drilled below the top of the Mississippian System. 5 As a minimum requirement, the operator shall run logs to determine the resistivity, spontaneous potential, porosity and gamma ray spectra from total depth to surface casing shoe for each well drilled. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 4, FROBISHER-ALIDA BEDS-GAINSBOROUGH AREA HORIZONTAL WELL PROJECT MRO 764/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, approval is granted to Upton Resources Inc. to drill and complete two horizontal wells in the Frobisher-Alida Beds underlying the south-west quarter and north half of Section W1M, in accordance with plans filed with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines as Document No. H.W. 506 and subject to the following: 1 A maximum allowable rate of production shall be assigned. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 4, EPPING SPARKY SAND POOL PRESSURE MAINTENANCE MRO 765/95. Pursuant to section 17.1 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the application submitted by CS Resources Limited for disposing of salt water recovered from oilfield production by injection into the Sparky Sand through the wells C W3M, C W3M and A W3M is approved, in accordance with plans and specifications filed with the Department as Document No. P.M and subject to the following: 1 Installations shall be subject to the approval of a field representative of the Department prior to the commencement of salt water injection and subsequent to any modifications to such installations. 2 The wellhead injection pressure shall be limited to a maximum of kilopascals per well. 3 All injection volumes shall be metered with a Department approved method. 4 An application to plugback must be applied for and approved through the Department field office prior to re-completing the above wells for salt water disposal. This approval does not authorize the applicant to dispose of salt water without the consent of all the mineral owners, other than the Crown, that might reasonably be adversely affected by such disposal. Renaissance Energy Ltd. has submitted an application to drill an exploratory off-target well to verify seismic interpretation. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act and subsection 30(2) of The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, 1985, permission is granted to drill an offtarget well to produce from the Cantuar formation located in legal subdivision 2 of Section W3M, subject to the following: 1 The maximum allowable rate of production will be calculated without penalty. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, July 28, MRO 768/95 A 261. Northrock Resources Ltd. has submitted an application to drill an exploratory off-target well to verify seismic interpretation. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, permission is granted to drill an off-target well to produce from the Frobisher formation located in legal subdivision 14 of Section W1M, subject to the following: 1 The net productive area used in calculating the maximum allowable rate of production shall be determined in accordance with subsection 30(1) of The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 3, MRO 770/95 A 263. Barrington Petroleum Ltd. has submitted an application to drill an exploratory off-target well to verify seismic interpretation. Pursuant to sections 17 and 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, permission is granted to drill an off-target well to produce from the Dina formation located in legal subdivision 10 of Section W3M, subject to the following: 1 Good production practice is approved. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 2, MRO 771/95 A 264. Pursuant to section 27 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, and subsection 30(2) of The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, 1985, approval is granted to Tarragon Oil & Gas Limited to drill an off-target oil well located at W2M, subject to the following: 1 The net productive area used in calculating the maximum allowable rate of production for the well shall be determined in accordance with subsection 30 (1) of The Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, October 5, ALAMEDA EAST FROBISHER BEDS POOL MRO 773/95 PO 36. Pursuant to section 17 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the following provisions shall apply to the drilling of, and the production of oil and gas from, vertical oil wells in the Alameda East Frobisher Beds Pool, effective October 1, 1995: 1 The drainage unit shall be comprised of two legal subdivisions in a Section grouped as follows: legal subdivisions 1 and 2; 3 and 4; 5 and 6; 7 and 8; 9 and 10; 11 and 12; 13 and 14; 15 and 16.

6 1130 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE 2 Within a drainage unit, the sides of the target area shall be 100 m from and parallel to the corresponding sides of the evennumbered legal subdivision with the exception of the following: Lands lying west of the Second Meridian: in Township 4, in Range 2: the north-east quarter of Section 10, the north-west quarter of Section 11, the south-east, south-west and north-east quarters of Section 15; where the sides of the target area shall be 100 m from and parallel to the corresponding sides of the odd-numbered legal subdivision. 3 If a well is not completed within the target area, the minister may reduce the area used as a factor in determining the MARP. 4(a) For the first well drilled in each Section, the operator shall submit samples of the interval from the top of the Second White Specks to total depth. (b) For all subsequent wells drilled in each Section, the operator shall submit samples of the interval from the top of the Paleozoic strata to total depth if such wells are intended to be drilled down to or below the top of the Bakken Formation. 5 As a minimum requirement, the operator shall run logs to determine the resistivity, spontaneous potential, porosity and gamma ray spectra from surface casing shoe to total depth for each well drilled. Pursuant to section 17 of The Oil and Gas Conservation Act, the following area is designated and identified as an oil and gas pool named the Alameda East Frobisher Beds Pool, effective October 1, 1995: Lands in Township 4, in Range 2, west of the Second Meridian: the north-east quarter of Section 10, the north-west quarter of Section 11, the north-west quarter of Section 13, the south-west, north-west and north-east quarters of Section 14, the south-east, south-west and north-east quarters of Section 15, Section 24.
