2 ANNEX 1 Performance of the product and references to the methods used for its assessment 1. Release of dangerous substances The applicant is required to submit a written declaration stating whether or not the fire stopping and fire sealing product contains dangerous substances according to European and national regulations, when and where relevant in the Member States of destination, and shall list these substances. Hilti Corporation confirm that all dangerous chemical substances 1.0 % w/w as well as all toxic, carcinogenic, toxic for reproduction and mutagenic chemical substances 1.0 % w/w (Status 6th ATP of Directive (EC) No 1272/2008 are stated in our safety data sheets (according to directive EC 1907/2006 including amendments) and have been considered for the classification of the products according to the directive (EC) No 1272/2008 (classification, labelling and packaging regulation, including amendments)

4 2.1 Wall applications General information Flexible-/ Rigid walls (t E 100 mm) Flexible walls: The wall must have a minimum thickness of 100 mm and comprise timber or steel studs lined on both faces with minimum 2 layers of 12,5 mm thick boards. For timber stud walls there must be a minimum distance of 100 mm of the seal to any stud and the cavity between stud and seal must be closed. A minimum 100 mm insulation of Class A1 or A2 (in accordance with EN ) has to remain in the cavity between stud and seal. In steel stud construction the space between linings has not to be completely filled with insulation material, especially in the neighbourhood to the seal. Nevertheless the wall construction has to be set up according requirements given in EN :2009 or the construction itself has been classified according EN The wall comprises timber or steel studs lined on both faces with minimum 2 layers of 12,5 mm thick boards. A higher number of board layers are accepted if the overall board layer thickness is equal or bigger than tested. A higher overall board layer thickness is accepted, if the number of board layers is equal or bigger than tested. The boards are according EN 520 type F or according the specification of the tested and approved flexible wall construction system according EN An aperture framing inside the wall is not required. 18 2.2 Rigid floor application General information rigid floor (t E 150 mm) The floor must have a minimum thickness of 150 mm with a minimum density of ρ E > 550 kg/m 3 and comprise concrete, aerated concrete or masonry Penetration sealing types Single penetration / Sealing A: The Hilti Firestop Wrap CFS-W P is supported by means of steel plate Z-profiles (F) with a thickness from 0,5 mm and a width of 20 mm. Position of the Z-profiles: The small horizontal section support the pipe sealing (A 1 ) and the vertical section is placed in the annular sealing over a distance of 120 mm. Number of Z-profiles: Pipe Ø 75 mm = 2 Z-profiles Pipe Ø > 75 mm = 3 Z-profiles Annular gap sealed with Hilti Firestop Mortar CP 633, Hilti Firestop Mortar CFS-M(CP 636), Hilti Firestop Mortar CFS-M RG cement-based mortars with a compressive strength equal to or lower than 10N/mm² (A 4 ).
