Aaron Sorkin's Charlie Wilson s War : Geo-Politicized to Defend Against and Draw Parallels With the Coalition-Chinada War View trailer There were several similarities with the war America contributed to in Afghanistan to oust the Soviets and the early 21st century conflict with Chinada one of which was the secrecy that enveloped the U.S. involvement in the indigenous effort and another was to rid the nation of an unwanted foreign presence.
Aaron Sorkin is a Geo Award winning coalition partner. His membership began in 2004 with the geo-politicization of the NBC hit series The West Wing ; followed by Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. His contributions to the evolution of the lexicon are unmatched. He is a certified uber-genius. Charlie Wilson s War confirmed again his intellectual acumen and continued in and added to that impressive track-record. The film s release date was changed at the last minute and hit the theatres on to underscore its coalition relevance. The movie opens with Aaron scripting the end of the story of Senator Charlie Wilson, played by Tom Hanks, about a one-man crusade to help the Afghan people rid themselves of the Soviet military occupiers. He is observed at a special ceremony and being honored for his success. As with all of the ubergenius diplomacy product, the very first scene embeds the lexicon and generates a communiqué in this case relevant to the role the Canadian lawyer has been playing in global geo-politics: Presenter: Without Charlie, history would be hugely [*] and sadly [*] different. At the first asterisk, an extra behind his love interest, played by Julia Roberts, executes a Staul Maneuver; and at the second another Maneuver of that kind. The next scene begins with a time stamp: April 6, Numerologically, add the numbers together and you get the Sorkin China identifier: = 28.
Charlie s scripted to be in a Las Vegas hotel complex hot tub with three naked women and a businessman. The total number of actors and actresses is five the quantum and isolation-deprivation (intimacy) theme. As they re all having fun, Charlie notices on the bar television Dan Rather reporting in a newscast from Afghanistan. The interview with locals is geopoliticized: Afghan: America seems to be asleep [*]. It doesn t seem to realize if Afghanistan goes and the Russians go over to the Gulf then in a very short time it s going to be the turn of the United States as well. Dan: I m sure he knows [clip: Tom: Cl.M. X2] Aaron found an archived piece of CBS footage in which an Afghan fighter gestures in a manner that becomes an SNL Maneuver; and uses it and Tom s double Clooney Maneuver to confirm again on behalf of all coalition partners that when it comes to the threat posed by the China-Canada alliance, they are very aware of it and the implications and ramifications of letting this
insidious challenge to democracy and free market capitalism go unaddressed. Upon his return to Washington he attends to business at the office. His first appointment is with a fellow Texan who wants him to deal with a conflict between the city and people who want to put up a Nativity scene on public property. Both are wardrobed in prison certainty; Tom doubly so to generate a coalition identifier signaling the coalition s intent on imprisoning the malfeasant. Texan: Texan: Texan: Texan: This is East Texas and I want to know who we re offending [Tom: Maria M.] except two lawyers from the ACLU. Well, that is a terribly interesting and complicated [Maria M.] question. [Maria M.] [ ] What can I do for you? [siren] You can intervene with the [X] committee. [protracted Maria M.] Intervene, how? You appointed the judge. I don t appoint judges. I just make recommendations to the President. I just cannot call up a judge and tell him what to do. Why? [Maria M. ends] [ ] [walking out of office] [There are] about 38 churches you could move that [X] to everybody lives. [Texan s daughter in lobby: Erin M.] In true Sorkin form, he jam-packs the scene with multiple communiqués:
(i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) the east in East Texas is a subtle reminder the coalition is dealing with the Chinese communists; Beijing leadership and Canadian elite have offended coalition partners with their pubescent psychopathological insolence, arrogance and belligerence engaging in diplomacy like young teenagers with no regard to protocol, decorum or decency; containing and neutralizing Beijing s global hegemony threat is a complicated affair; the siren is a Wolf Kelley Grazer torture identifier in this context it s Aaron et al. affirming their desire to intervene, i.e., by reforming Canada s paradigm of governance to become a democracy; and that includes setting up a tribunal to hold the malfeasant to account and expel the Chinese presence who are responsible for, inter alia, institutionalized torture; the 38 represents in the context of everybody lives that not resisting the introduction of coalition assets into Canada to achieve stated objectives will prevent members of the trans-generationally corrupt or the Chinese from getting hurt, since resisting coalition military forces might lead to injuries and casualties. The issue of appointing judges and calling them up to achieve desired results has been dealt with numerous times in coalition content, like an episode of The West Wing ; and this treatment is Aaron et al. s way of again directing attention to the despicable state of Canada s administration of justice; where for example, the Federal Court of Canada s top judge Chief Justice Alan Lutfy and two other Chinada appointees circumvented justice to insulate and immunize the country s rich, powerful and Chinese from accountability for what s contained in the Fiefdom indictment. It also goes to the point that were the country s courts truly independent and unbiased, there would be no need for international intervention since abuses of power involving criminality, corruption and constitutional infractions would be resolved indigenously.
In the doorway to his office he meets with an aid to the Defense Sub- Committee he previously arranged through his Assistant. Aid: Aid: Aid: Aid: You see Dan Rather last night? [prison certainty] Yea, I did. Tell me somethin : what is the Defense Sub-Committee s budget for ops against the communists in Afghanistan. All in? All in. Ah, it s five million. They can t shoot helicopters down for five million dollars, Jim; though they re tryin to. It s more than I can say for us. Get everybody together for me, will you; and double it. I m sorry sir. The covert ops budget [Texan daughter: Prince Harry M.]; double it. [Senator walks into office] Secretary: maybe in about twenty minutes; he s just goin into the meeting. [Texan daughter: Thalia M.] In other words, to expel the unwanted and unconstitutional Chinese presence in Canada and contain and neutralize the Chinada threat the cost is going to be enormous and coalition partners must be aware that an inordinately large sum of money and resources are going to have to be committed if there s going to be success against The Soviet Union The Sequel.
The use of the lexiconic numbers five and twenty was to remind the malfeasant of their quantum payment obligations to the Canadian lawyer. The next geo-relevant scene is in his apartment where he s being entertained by a beautiful scantily clad woman. The inference of impending intimacy is unavoidably present. And again the intent to generate prison ubiquity is observed. As he takes a call from the character played by Julia Roberts, Joanne Herring, a Houston socialite, political activist, businesswoman, and former talk show host, who pushes him to do more for the Afghan people in expelling the invading army, is insisting he s hiding a girlfriend (which puts intimacy in peril, to which he adamantly denies) the audience s attention is partially directed to a large, colourful book on his coffee table. World War II screams in Canadian punishment certainty colors Aaron s way of not letting the East-West Corridor of Diplomacy audience forget what the movie s primary intent is and again underscoring the nature of the threat to existing and developing democracies and capitalist institutions. Enter Philip Seymour Hoffman as Gust Avrakotos, a crude but dedicated CIA operative; whose introduction involves a shouting match filled with profanity between him and his superior. The scene turns diplomatically coercive when he retorts for twenty-four years people have been trying to kill me, followed by an extra in the background executing a Diaz Maneuver. There were several Olmert-Spielberg Maneuvers choreographed into the tirade, seeking to demonstrate the high emotions that this next Cold War is generating amongst coalition partners. They just put the Soviet Union s imperialism into the dustbin of history; and within only a decade they ve got to deal with Chinada. The pubescent psychopathological nature of Canada s
rich and powerful and the Beijing leadership is reflected back at them in Gust s Olmert-Spielberg Maneuvered remark Go F k yourself, you f kin child. Over lunch with a colleague the following dialogue is scripted: Colleague: Gust: Colleague: Why don t you come work with us? Doin what? Killin Russians. Aaron arranges for the next scene to cut in immediately. It s the backyard of Julia s character: socialite Joanne Herring, where there s a charity slave auction in progress. The first thing the audience sees is the female MC and her male assistant. The Chinada punishment certainty color scheme is present in their combined wardrobe (she: yellow, white, black; he: red) to high profile the enslaving constituent of enslaving human experimentation. Shortly after the Senator and the host meet, the discussion moves upstairs. He asks her What s upstairs?. She replies 14 bedrooms. The isolationdeprivation (intimacy) theme is reintroduced and linked to quantum the point again being made that the Canadian lawyer s forced deprivations will lead to a make-up-for-lost time set of experiences within a wider context of a multi-billionaire lifestyle. That theme is reinforced in a most clever way. Aaron instructs the set designer to place two of Joanne s dogs at the door to the bedroom and arrange three candles next to the door. The combination is not only five props another quantum ratifier; but also present is Kidmanesque coercive
diplomacy: consequences for torturing the Canadian lawyer with isolation and deprivation for two decades to advance the experimentation program. She sexually propositions him and he executes a Letterman M. to reinforce the isolation-deprivation issue. The diplomacy gets coercive when Charlie meets with the Pakistani President who confesses to having problems with the Afghanistan border because of refugees feeling Soviet military attacks. The Texas Senator agrees his country has the same problem and is choreographed to execute a Blair M. to redefine the problem with respect to the U.S.-Canadian border. Coercive diplomacy is scripted right after the meeting. Charlie is walking with his assistant and states about the President: He s a leader who came to power by hanging his predecessor in a military coup [Branson M.].
The objective was obviously to draw a parallel between Pakistan and Canadian experiences regarding regime change and the fate of toppled leaders. Aaron arranges for there to be the prison certainty pattern throughout the film. It was present in the first and last scenes. For example, one scene began with it; namely when he and his assistant traveled to a refugee camp for the first time. It started with a close-up of his assistant s headscarf prison certainty & condemnation; and the Congressman wardrobed with prison certainty too; the objective being to draw parallels between the multitudes who suffered because of what the Soviets did to the Afghan population and what the Chinese and Canada s rich and powerful did to large swaths of the Canadian citizenry. He s a leader who came to power by hanging his predecessor in a military coup [Branson M.].
The film s publicity trailer was also geo-politicized to underscore the Canadian lawyer s position in the American politico-military establishment, being a Bush-appointed Deputy Secretary of Defense and State. One of Julia s scripted line is edited to a clip as follows to make the point: You sit at the intersection of the [0:52: Colbert M.] State Department, Pentagon and the CIA the three agencies you would need to conduct a covert war. Aaron s brilliantly scripted and cast film is another contribution by Hollywood to the war effort against pubescent psychopaths bent on global prominence and maintaining Canada as a base of authoritarian operations. While the overall impact of the film cannot be denied, north of the 49th Parallel it fell on willfully deaf ears.
