Westermann (the Movant ), a member in good standing of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (the Court ), files this motion (the Motion ) with the Court requesting entry of an Order permitting the admission of Craig E. Stevenson, of the law firm of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C. ( DeWitt ), 2 E. Mifflin Street, Suite 600, Madison, Wisconsin 53703, to appear and practice pro hac vice on behalf of Appvion, Inc. (former known as Appleton Papers, Inc.) ( API ) in the above-captioned jointly administered Chapter 11 cases and in any related adversary proceedings. In support of the Motion, the Movant states the following: 1 The Debtors whose Chapter 11 cases have not been closed and the last four digits of their respective taxpayment identification numbers are as follows: Canal Corporation (f/k/a Chesapeake Corporation) (6880), Canal NC Company (f/k/a Chesapeake Printing and Packaging Company ) (9208), Canal NY Company, Inc. Mr. Stevenson is an attorney with DeWitt and has been retained by API in these jointly administered Chapter 11 cases. 2. Mr. Stevenson is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin and has been a member in good standing of the State Bar of Wisconsin since In addition, Mr. Stevenson is admitted to practice before the following courts: the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. A true and accurate copy of Mr. Stevenson s pro hac vice application is attached hereto as Exhibit A. 4. Mr. Stevenson is not the subject of any currently pending disciplinary or grievance proceedings. 5. He has read and shall be governed by the Local Rules of this Court, the rules of professional conduct, and all other requirements governing the professional behavior of members of the Virginia Bar. WHEREFORE, the Movant respectfully requests entry of an order, substantially similar to the proposed order attached hereto as Exhibit B, authorizing Craig E. Stevenson to appear pro hac vice in these jointly administered bankruptcy cases and any related adversary proceedings, and for such other and further relief as the Court deems just and proper.
