Irish Working Holiday Visa Visa First process Irish working holiday visas on behalf of thousands of Australians every year. Price: 125 Description The Working Holiday Maker Scheme allows a person aged between 18 and 30 (inclusive) to come to Ireland for up to one year, as a tourist and who may work casually in order to fund their stay. Working holiday makers can stay and work in Ireland for a total of 12 months but must not engage in work with anyone employer for a period in excess of six months. What do I need to apply? 1. Complete the application form. 2. Current valid passport and 2 photocopies of the bio data page. 3. Two photocopies of the UK visa. 4. Current CV or letter from School/College where applicable, plus two photocopies. 5. Two written references from previous or current employers must not be written more than 12 months ago, plus two photocopies. 6. Originals of any qualifications obtained or letter from school/college/university (where applicable), plus two photocopies. 7. Original Bank Statement showing evidence of AU$2,500 and a return ticket or AU$5,000, plus two photocopies. 8. All visas are processed in 4-6 weeks. How much does it cost? The working holiday visa costs 125. Additional Information Public Funds Applicants must have sufficient funds to support themselves for at least the initial part of the holiday or in the event of failing to secure employment. Immigration officials may request evidence of sufficient funds at the point of entry to Ireland. Insurance It is recommended to successful applicants that they obtain private medical insurance to cover any costs incurred in the event of an accident or illness while in Ireland.

3 Eligibility Criteria Age Working holiday visa applicants must be between 18 and 30 (inclusive) to be eligible for the Working Holiday Scheme. * Clients who have already turned 30 years of age can apply for the visa but will have to leave Ireland before their 31st birthday thus being unable to avail of the full visa validity period. With regards to the above Visa First recommend that you apply before your 29th birthday so that you are guaranteed a full year stay in Ireland. Other Authorisations issued under the scheme will enable the holder to obtain employment of a casual or temporary nature only, and which must be incidental to the holiday. An Authorisation will not confirm the right to seek employment to anyone other than the named holder. Successful applicants may be required to show air tickets or evidence of funds to Immigration Officers at ports of entry, and are required to leave Ireland by the expiry date of the Authorisation. Successful applicants will be required to obtain an Immigration Certificate of Registration from the nearest Garda (Police) Station in Ireland within the first month of entering Ireland. A fee of 300 will apply and this should be paid directly to the Garda Station. On Registration, a GNIB Registration Card will be issued and employer s may ask for this at time of employment. No one may avail of the scheme on more than one occasion. Please be advised that if you have been granted an Irish Working Holiday Visa before, but you never ended up going to Ireland, you won t be allowed to apply for another one! Children may not accompany successful applicants to Ireland. NB: You must travel to Ireland with the same passport you hold at time of completing this application. If you obtain a new passport after your visa has been issued, please contact VISA FIRST on (for Australia), (for Ireland) or (for the UK). In this case Reallocation fee may apply. Terms and Conditions Visa First reserves the right to return any passport without the requested visa if the passport and/or the documents provided do not comply with the requirements or if there is insufficient time to process the visa. All visas are issued at the Embassies discretion and Visa First bears no responsibility for the rejection of any application. The visa and processing fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application. Passports are required for the entire processing time. In the event of loss or damage to any passport or documents received, Visa First liability will be limited to the actual value of the passport/document. Visa First accepts no liability for consequential loss. You must travel with the same passport you hold at time of completing this application.
