2 What do I need to apply for my Russian Tourist Visa? 1. Valid national passport with at least two clear pages. Passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of your departure from Russia. 2. Completed visa application form. 3. One recent color passport-sized photo taken against white background and printed on standard photographic paper with your name written on the reverse side. 4. A standard tourist acceptance confirmation issued by hosting Russian travel agency or hotel registered with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a tourist voucher from your travel agency (or hotel). The voucher must contain the applicant s name, passport number, dates and ports of arrival and departure in and from Russia, cities to be visited, agency s reference or registration number. Please note that the hotel booking is not sufficient for visa application. 5. If Tour Group or Cruise Passenger: Letter from tour company or cruise line confirming itinerary and including a copy of the confirmation from authorized Russian travel company which shows the reference number and confirmation number for the visa. 6. Applicants who are self-employed, company directors, working from home or unemployed need to provide bank statements for the last three months which have a current balance of a minimum of 100 per day for the duration of the visit (not required for housewives, students and retired applicants). Please note that if you wish to provide online banking printouts please make sure they will be certified and stamped by your bank. 7. Proof of residence 8. Insurance. It should cover the period of stay in Russia. Once Visa First receives your completed application form and support documents we will then you with a typed version of your application form as verified by the Russian Embassy. All you need to do is print out the form from the , sign it and post it back to us. As soon as we receive your signed application form in the post we will be able to submit your application to the Russian Consulate. Please note that if you haven t studied any higher degree education nor worked elsewhere besides your current workplace, you need to write a letter stating the absence of this data. Where should I send my documents? Please your documents to info@visafirst.com with the filled in application form. Please be advised that Visa First is going to contact you in regards to posting your documents to our office - Visa First, 3rd Floor, 9 White Lion Street, London N1 9PD, UK. Once we receive the copies of the documents we will check them for correctness and completeness and will send the completed Visa application form to be signed by the applicant. We will then send back to the customer also an authorisation letter from our agency ( a cover letter). You will have the option either to book your biometrics in person or book an appointment with one of our representatives who will meet you and handhold you though the barometric process. Applicant need to bring the originals of the visa documents, along with the signed Visa application form, original passport and cover letter from VisaFirst. At the biometric centre the applicant will be required to give biometric data (finger prints) and all of the required documents. Visa First agent will proceed with the further dealing of the visa application. Once the visa is ready it will be collected by Visa First agent and will be returned to the applicant by the chosen delivery method.

3 How long will it take to get the visa? The Standard processing time is 5 working days, after the receipt of your application. What is the validity period of the Russian Tourist visa? The Russian Tourist visa is valid for 30 days. How much time I have to activate the visa since the date of issue? The visa must be activated within six (6) months from the date of issue. Is a visa required for cruise ship passengers? - According to Russian law, all Russian Visas should be registered within 7 working days, upon arrival to the Russian Federation (excluding weekends and official holidays). No registration required if the visit is for only two to three days. If you are staying at a hotel: the hotel will register the visa. You will be asked to show your visa and passport. A small registration fee can be imposed. If you are not staying at a hotel: you will have to register the visa at the Passport and Visa Department of the local Police Precinct. If your final destination is not Moscow or St. Petersburg and you are not staying at a hotel: you will need to register the visa with a local UVIR (Russian Department of Visas and Registration). All visas are issued at the Embassies discretion and Visa First bears no responsibility for the rejection of any application. The visa and processing fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application. Passports are required for the entire processing time. In the event of loss or damage to any passport or documents received, Visa First liability will be limited to the actual value of the passport/document.
