EGYPT e-visa An e-visa is an official document permitting entry into and travel within Egypt. Applicants obtain their visas electronically after entering required information and making payments by a credit or debit card. Passport control officers at ports of entry can verify your e-visa on their system. As in the case of other visas, respective Egyptian officials at the ports of entry reserve the right to deny entry into Egypt to a holder of an e-visa without any explanation. You are advised to create an e-visa application at least 10 working business days prior to your departure. On arrival in Egypt you must present the following:) - Passport valid for at least eight months after return to Canada, - e-visa printout, - Round trip or onward air ticket, - Supporting letter (e.g. invitation letter for family/friend visits.), - Hotel bookings/details about places to visit if going as tourist. 3 EGYPT e-visa File Attachments This is a list of the items you must attach to your application . 1) APPLICATION FORM ATTACHMENT Saved.pdf format file of this application form. File Format:.pdf File Size: minimum 100 kb - maximum 3 MB 2) PASSPORT IMAGE ATTACHMENT Photograph of the data page of your passport double-page spread containing personal details (name, date of birth, nationality, expiry date, photograph, etc.) to be used by the applicant. The image should fill the scanned area. All four corners of the open passport double-page must be clearly visible. Do not use your mobile phone to take the photo. File Format:.jpg or.png File Size: minimum 100 kb - maximum 475 kb 3) I.D. PHOTOGRAPH ATTACHMENT A passport-size I.D. photo has to be an ICAO standard photograph. The photograph must be taken from the front, against white background. Both ears must be clearly visible. The photo must show a neutral face, no smiling and the eyes must be open and visible and look into the camera. Glasses may not reflect the light or the camera. Photo must fill the entire image area and be upright. There cannot be white space on either side of the body. Home photos or selfies are not acceptable. Do not use your mobile phone to take the I.D. photograph. 9 VISA SERVICES CANADA SECURE PAYMENT FOR TOURIST & VISIT VISAS Visa Services Canada, Inc. is pleased to offer the most secure means of payment available in Canada for the processing of your tourist or your visit visa. This is the mandatory payment form. As of January 2017 tourist/visit clients must pay by e-transfer. Credit card is no longer accepted. INTERAC e-transfer Interac e-transfer is a funds transfer service between personal and business accounts at Canadian banks and other financial institutions. You do not have to provide any account details or even a credit card number to our company. Our staff never see any of your account details when you use an e-transfer method of payment. You deal only with your bank or financial institutions to make payment in a totally secure environment right from your home or office. HOW IT WORKS 1. Fill in the entire visa application form, including the VSC cover page above, and send it to our office by courier or as applicable. 2. Our professional staff review your application and determine the total payment (including taxes and shipping) to be made by you. 3. Our staff send you an detailing the full and final charges. This will contain all the instructions for making the e-transfer. It will include the and security codes, and step-by-step instructions for you. 4. You, or a friend or relative acting on your behalf, make the e-transfer to VSC for all the visa processing charges and fees. 5. It takes about 30 minutes for the bank to send the e-transfer notification to our office. We then receive the funds and can then pay the embassy on your behalf. Payment must be received before the embassy can be approached with your application. YOUR ADDRESS Applicants MUST provide at least one (1) working and monitored address on the VSC cover page so that our staff can contact you with details of the payment. Please provide two. An application form without a typed correct and monitored address cannot be processed. Applicants who respond immediately are assisted first. Applicants who do not respond within three days (72 hours) will have their applications cancelled and their passports prepared for return. Failure to respond promptly may result in you missing your journey.
