10 AN INSTRUMENT FOR EVERY CHILD The joint gift enables musical and hobby education institutions to apply for funding of the purchase of musical instruments so that every child in Estonia would have an opportunity to learn a musical instrument. More than 1000 instruments have already been bought.

11 is touring in Estonia in the summer of 2017 with performances, playgrounds, workshops and much more for children in the towns and cities it visits. The goal is to reach as many children as centenary.

12 ESTONIA 100 THEATRE PROGRAMME 23 Estonian theatre companies divided the period in history since 1910 into twelve decades, dedicating a play to each decade. 14 new productions will be staged within the project. 13 GREAT PUBLIC SPACE The public space in 16 cities of Estonia will be established or reconstructed under the architectural programme. 7 towns have already received fundings.

14 ESTONIA 100 FILM COMPETITION 6 feature films 1 full- length documentary 1 collection of short documentaries 1 drama series + 3 fully developed drama series ready for production

15 ESTONIA 100 IN EVERY VILLAGE Each village, town or community has an opportunity to choose a day during the celebration period to host their own birthday party of Estonia.

16 The Government Office invites everyone to plant oaks to celebrate Estonia 100. There will be at least one oak park in every county. The representational oak forest of planted in Tamsalu, small town in the middle of Estonia.

17 MILLION+ write millions of articles in Estonian language to Wikipedia by 2020!

18 WEEK OF CELEBRATIONS 2018 Week of celebrations begins on 19 August with a joint singing of Estonian people and ends on 25 August with a Night of Ancient Bonfires. During this week, Estonia- wide hikes will be held on land and sea, concerts and Tour bicycle festival.

19 WORLD CLEANUP DAY One of the most important international events will be the, which will be a gift from Estonians to the world. Everyone is invited to roll up their sleeves and contribute to this incredible effort! September 15, 2018

20 ESTONIA 100 APP Estonia 100 app serves as a gateway to all the latest Estonia 100 news and events, and lets you save events on your own personal calendar. This app has been created by the telecommunications company Telia as a gift to the Republic of Estonia for its 100th anniversary. You can download the app for free here: Google Play and itunes.

22 ESTONIA 100 INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME The programme celebrates the Estonian Presidency of the Council of European Union and Estonia 100. More than 150 cultural, educational, research and technological events in 2017 and 2018 in more than 30 countries around the world. SEE MORE: events.estonia.ee

25 ESTONIANS ABROAD All e abroad are very welcome! Let everyone know about your gift or event on the Estonia 100 website at In 2018, more children will be able to attend language and cultural camps in Estonia with funding from Estonia 100. A project competition for Estonian cultural associations abroad to celebrate Estonia 100 will be organised by MISA. Next call for applications: October 2017.
