1 SPAIN On behalf of UniGroup Relocation, we will be coordinating the shipment of your goods to. To simplify the process, we have outlined the necessary steps to ensure a smooth transition. This will also review your responsibilities in assisting with this process. In addition to the points below, the following pages will outline the requirements, which will be facilitated by our local representative to complete the clearance. They will assist with each item specific to your shipment so please be assured they will do whatever is necessary to facilitate a quick and efficient clearance. The documentation process, for example, passports, visas, power of attorney, etc., can take 1 week to 14 days plus the transportation airfreight seven to 21 days / weeks and ocean six to eight weeks, depending on the origin. It is extremely important that you take a few moments to review these important requirements, as they will allow us to process the release of your personal property through foreign customs. Customs and immigration requirements are established by the country of import and not by UniGroup Relocation. This guide has been designed to assist clients understand and comply with country-specific requirements. Substantial effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is current and correct. Such regulations, however, are subject to change without notice by the country of import. UniGroup Relocation assumes no liability for changes in the law or interpretation by enforcement personnel as it exists at the time you and/or your goods enter the country. Visa Requirements Details Please advise your local representative or UniGroup Relocation Representative of the Type of passport or visa you will be travelling under (working visa, temporary visa, diplomatic, etc.). When moving to, some specific documents will be required in order to satisfy local immigration officials. *Contact address and telephone number must be listed on all documents. Required Documents Visitors Schengen Visa Details The following member states of the European Union Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Iceland and Norway signatories of the Schengen Agreement issue a uniform visa called the Schengen visa. Citizens who hold passport of the following countries do not require visa to visit up to 90 days: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, France, Guatemala, Holland, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Republic Of Korea, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, The United States, United Kingdom, Uruguay and Venezuela. Four recent passport size color photographs Covering Letter mentioning the applicant's name, designation, purpose and duration of stay. Hotel confirmation Confirmed return air ticket Bank statements for the last three months Income Tax return for the last three years Requirements for Business Visa are: Passport with validity of more than six months. Four visa application forms duly filled in and signed. Four recent passport size color photographs with a light background to be glued on the appropriate place on the visa application form. Covering letter from the applicant on company's letter head stating his name, designation, purpose and duration of visit. An Invitation Letter from the counterpart Spanish Company to come to the Embassy directly and a copy to us. Hotel Confirmation. Income Tax papers for the last three years. Bank Statement for the last three months. Confirmed return Air Ticket. Requirements for Work Visa are: Passport should be valid for six months Four Visa Application forms duly filled in and signed. Four Recent passport size color photographs Covering Letter mentioning the applicant's name, designation, purpose and duration of stay. Work permit to be arranged by the counterpart Spanish company and sent to the applicant. Educational and professional certificates. Financial solvency proof - bank statements, I / tax return papers, copy of credit cards. Confirmed one way air ticket. 3 Family Reunification Residence Visa Spanish (original and a photocopy). A recent photography, so large membership card with white bottom (in case the passport includes children smaller than they travel with the holder, must also contribute photography of these minors). Passport of the applicant (original and a photocopy of the 2 first leaves), with a minimum validity of a day after the aim of the stay projected in. If the passport has been issued recently, will have to also appear the previous passport. Letters of the corresponding Federations of the countries indicating clearly the object and dates of the trip. Acreditativa documentation to have lodging in. Ticket reserve of means of transport with roundtrip to. This Embassy reserves the right to ask for the original ticket when therefore it considers it opportune. Insurance policy of trip to the foreigner, valid for all the countries of the European Union and that covers, throughout the medical time of the anticipated stay, associated expenses and repatriation to an accident or a sudden disease. In case of minor a sworn declaration of the parents or tutors will be necessary. A residence visa is required when planning to join a member of the family, already resident in, and of whom the applicant is a dependant. Requirements for visa are: Four visa application forms fully completed and signed by the applicant at the bottom of the page. Four recent colour passport sized photographs. A full national passport with a minimum validity of 120 days and one full blank page to affix the visa. Photocopies of the whole passport, minus the blank pages. Photocopy of the page or pages of the passport showing the details of the applicant. A Certificado de Penales or a Police Criminal Records Certificate (original and photocopy) stating that the applicant does not have a criminal record. This must be obtained from the country or countries where the applicant has been residing during the past five years. A health certificate (original and photocopy) issued by a doctor, stating that the applicant does not suffer from any contagious or infectious diseases, mental disorders or drug addiction. Passport of the member of the family already resident in with a set of photocopies of the whole passport minus the blank pages, or photocopies of the said passport duly legalised before a notary public in. 4 Cultural Visa Diplomats Diplomatic Passport Students Renewed Spanish residence card (original and photocopy) of the member of the family already living in or photocopy of the said residence card duly legalised before a notary public in. Fully comprehensive private medical insurance. Marriage and/or birth certificate, as the case may be (original and photocopy). In cases where documents are not from the EU the Apostille will be required together with a translation of the documents. Requirements for visa are: Form of visa request, complimented in English or French Spanish (original and one photocopy). 5 Student Visa (up to 90 days) Student Visa (more than 90 days) Requirements for Visa are: Form of visa request, complimented in English or French Spanish (original and a photocopy). A recent photography, so large membership card with white bottom (in case the passport includes children smaller than they travel with the holder, must also contribute a photograph of these minors). Passport of the applicant (original and a photocopy of the 2 first leaves), with a minimum validity of one day after the aim of the stay projected in. Index (original and photocopy). Certificate of the faculty, school or school, indicating the course in that the applicant is registered (original and photocopy). Justificatory document to be registered in a teaching institution in. Justificatory document of availability of lodging in. Insurance policy of trip to the foreigner, valid for all the countries of the European Union. Justification of economic means and the partner-labor situation of the applicant (or of the person - parents or tutors on who depends economically.) Original invitation letter from the university in specifying the duration of the course (the tuition time of which should be at least 15hrs / week) acceptance of inscription and payment of the fees. All previous educational and professional certificates (if any) Financial solvency proof of either the applicant or the sponsor (if any) - bank statements, I / tax return papers, copy of credit cards. Police Clearance Certificate should be not older than three months. Please Note: In case of Indians, it should be from the "Passport office" For minors less than 18 years old, a written permission, attested by the competent authorities, should authorize the minor to travel and study in. Detailed inventory in English and Spanish, valued, dated and signed, indicating make, model and serial number of major electrical appliances. It is recommended to hand-carry the purchase invoices for appliances. Please verify with the local representative. Please verify with the local representative. 7 Residence Card / Work Permit Customs form For Returning Citizens and other Citizens of EC Passport Inventory List Purchase Invoice Spanish Identification Card (D.N.I.) Residence Visa Letter from Employer Registration Certificate Work Permit Fiscal identification number (N.I.E.) and Green Letter Application Form Bill of Lading or Express Release or Air Waybill De-registration Certificate Customs form For non citizens of EC who have different nationality to the origin country Change of Residence Residence Card / Work Permit, issued by the Spanish Authorities. If the shipper cannot provide an application for such Residence Card, a bond (Bank Guarantee or Cash Bond) may be posted. The bond can be recovered upon presentation of the original Residence Card, if received within a year of the importation. Provided by local representative. Original passport of the shipper showing last entry stamped, or photocopy of same legalized by a Public Notary. Detailed inventory in English and Spanish, valued, dated and signed, indicating make, model and serial number of major electrical appliances. Under marks, show name of shipper (consignee) and final destination point in. Original of De-registration certificate from the Spanish Consulate at origin. (Or British citizen-british Consulate, etc. The stay abroad must have been for at least one year and one day before importing their goods. Date must be clearly shown when client registered and date when client cancelled residency. Customer has one year from their entry to import free of charges and this document cannot be over a year old. Provided by local representative. ORIGINAL Cancellation of residence certificate from their Consulate at origin. Client must have lived at origin for at least one year before importing their goods. It must clearly show date when client registered and date when client is cancelling residence. This period must be of at least one year and one day before importing. Customer has one year from their entry to import free of charges and this document cannot be Effective: Oct. 24,

Fiscal identification number (N.I.E.) and Green Letter N.E.I. is required and Green Letter Carta de Residencia not over a year old since its issue date (NIE number must be registered in the Treasury Department = Hacienda). If not available, a Bank Guarantee could be applied but subject to Customs Final Decision (to be obtained at destination - aprox. 40% of the declared value or more depending on Customs Authority). In case of bank guarantee also the application for the Residence Permit must be attached. Customs form For non citizens of EC coming from their origin country to Change of Residence Customs form Fiscal identification number (N.I.E.) and Green Letter Provided by local representative. Customs Authorities requires a Change of Residence Certificate which states client has lived at origin for at least the past 12 months and is now moving to live in. This document must be issued by an Official Organism as for example the Town Hall at origin or their corresponding Consulate in where they can obtain a Certificate of Registration in and Cancellation of Residence at origin. Provided by local representative. N.E.I. is required and Green Letter Carta de Residencia not over a year old since its issue date (NIE number must be registered in the Treasury Department = Hacienda). If not available, a Bank Guarantee could be applied but subject to Customs Final Decision (to be obtained at destination - aprox. 40% of the declared value or more depending on Customs Authority). In case of bank guarantee also the application for the Residence Permit must be attached. Duties Personal & household goods can be imported duty-free under the following conditions: The property has been in the possession and use of the shipper for at least six months (3 months for shippers from European Community countries). Property cannot be sold or transferred within one year of importation. Used household goods shipment must be imported no later than 12 months after the shipper has arrived. Returning citizens must have lived abroad for at least one year for duty-free entry. Foreign citizens must request a Special Visa from the Spanish Consulate in order to obtain the Residence Permit and Work Permit cards needed for customs clearance of items. A secondary residence household goods and effects require duty. Details: Shipment must arrive no later than 3 months after customer, special permit necessary if shipment arrives later resulting in additional charges and delays. Effective: Oct. 24,

9 Restricted and Prohibited Imports All countries, including prohibits and restricts the importation of certain dangerous or sensitive items. Restricted Items: New items, less than six months old Tobacco products Foodstuff Antiques, art objects and ammunition require a Special Permit Liquor Prohibited Items: Narcotics Firearms and ammunition Automatic weapons and explosives Pornographic material Cleaning Fluids Paints Restricted and Prohibited Exports Not available. Motor Vehicles Imports Shipper must have owned the vehicle for at least six months before shipping and before obtaining the Cancellation of Residence at origin or one year (depending on the Port of Entry and Destination. Effective Jan. 1, 2012, cars and motor vehicles are IMO goods, unless the battery is disconnected and the tank is empty. Diplomatic vehicles must have valid vehicle registration, license plates, insurance (at least for the period in which the vehicle will be arriving in ).The following documents are required for the importation of motor vehicles: Required Documents Passport or Residence Card Spanish Vehicle Registration Details Please verify with the local representative. Shipper must have resided abroad for at least 12 months. The shipper must have used the vehicle for at least six months. Details: If modifications to the original design have been carried out on the vehicle, then importation is prohibited. License plates from country of origin must be presented to import motor vehicles into. Engine seals and marks as well as chassis seals and marks must be taken physically from the vehicle. Motor Vehicles Exports Not available. Pets The requirements to transport dogs and cats may vary per country. 12 WOOD PACKAGING MATERIAL International wood packing requirements are in accordance with ISPM 15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures: Guidelines for Regulating Wood Packaging Material in International Trade*) as of 5 July 2006: *ISPM 15 is produced by the Secretariat of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) of the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). ISPM 15 requires certain phytosanitary procedures, in particular heat treatment or methyl bromide fumigation, relating to wood packaging material (including dunnage) made of raw wood in use in international trade; the phytosanitary procedures are meant to minimize the risk of introducing and spreading certain pests that live and breed in raw wood. REQUIREMENTS OF ISPM 15 Wood packaging material in the form of: Packing cases, boxes, crates, drums, and similar packings Pallets, box pallets, skids, and other load boards Pallet collars actually in use in the transport of objects of all kinds, except: The wood packaging material shall: Be subject to one of the approved measures as specified in Annex I To FAO ISPM 15 (currently, heat treatment or methyl bromide fumigation) Display a mark with: o The two-letter ISO Country Code (in place of XX in the image below) o A code identifying the producer (in place of 000 in the image below) o The code identifying the approved measure applied to the wood packing material in the mark as Effective: Oct. 24,

13 Raw wood of 6mm thickness or less Processed wood produced by glue, heat and pressure, or any combination thereof o specified in Annex II to FAO ISPM 15 (in place of YY in the image below; examples are HT For Heat Treatment and MB for Methyl Bromide Fumigation ) Where debarking is required, the letters DB shall be added to the abbreviation of the approved measure included in the said mark o The logo as specified in Annex II to FAO ISPM 15 (this logo is the ippc trademarked graphic symbol shown in the image below on the left side) REQUIREMENTS OF ISPM 15 (Continued) Wood packaging material in the form of: The wood packaging material shall: Markings should be: 1. Permanent and not transferable 2.
