The materials donated on the ground of humanism by t he Internat i on a l Re f ugees Re l ief Organi zat i ons are r eally needed in t he r e f ugee camps for survival. The humanit arian assistance o f the International Re fugee Relief Organi za t ions wi ll be neve r f orgot ten by t he Man people. Allowing to let the Man regfugee s t emp orarily take refuge in the Thai s ide al ong the Thai- Burmese border by the Government o f Thailand i s prat ically a l s o a fo rm o f humanitarian assisbance. On behalf of the Mon people, the Man National Relief Committee thanks the Government of Thailand for giving shelter to the Man refugees who fled Burma due to the inhuman oppression of the Buremse Army which still holds power eventhough the National league for Democracy won a landslide majority in election. However, of the eight refugee camps controlled by M. N.R.C. the Day Bung refugee camp, situated in Samgkha Bur i township, was recently instructed to be mov ed immediately to a new place nearly forty kilometer away to the south- west by the local Thai Authority. But as the monsoon has already set in the movement will be very difficuit and B~ the moment it is not the right time to collect the thatch for roofing. So, the N.N.R.C wants to request the International Refugee Relief Organisati ons for emergency assistance in moving the refugee s from Day Bung to e new camp. Nai Tin Aumg. Chair-roan M.N.R.C.
