2 Project #3: Team Design Report You must create a new logo, new business card and a new website in the form of a website mockup. The following table explains (in detail) the requirements for this deliverable. 3 I. Research Company: Plutus Resource Short name: PR. This is easier for the users to remember and the P in Platus, is the representation of western fable for the god of wealth, and the R in Resource represents the many different resources that the company has. Objective: PR is a startup that is looking at starting an E-commerce site that sells all types of items. Mission Statement: PR is a selling store. It can sell any kind of goods. Company Information: Plutus Resource Established in Dec. 2008, is a high-tech enterprise which focuses on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, cells and power management system. In March 2014, Phenix JLN built a strategic cooperation alliance with Phenix New Energy (Huizhou) with a registered capital of 80million RMB, owned 60,000 square meters industrial park and more than 2000 staffs. Phenix JLN is now producing all kinds of lithium ion batteries about 400,000 pcs per day and registered their position in TOP 6 battery manufacturers in China. POC: LyAM, Manager of Operations Demographics: Education levels: High school graduate to Undergrad Sex: mostly male Age: Nationality: China and United States **as product line increases, demographics will change to be more inclusive. 4 II. Logo Notes: Words or letter to be included in the logo design: PR How will the logo be reproduced: Initially on the E-commerce site, business cards, and other advertisements. Logo flexibility for potential cobranded products in the future. Colors: Colors initially designed in blue, but may evolve in the future. 8 Back Website Notes Initially in the mockup we would like to see our bread and butter, cell phone batteries as the product. Pages to include: Home with scrolling images of products and people with our products, products, about us, and a contact us page. 13 Other: Notes Poster used advertisement and magazine ads. This will be the first variation of the original logo. Not to be launched until after initial launch, so we do not confuse our customers.
