The Branch along with other branches of ICAI celebrated this day with a pledge taking ceremony organised at the Branch. Meanwhile the other activities at the branch continue unabated.

The 26 th of November is celebrated as the Constitution Day. It is on this day in 1949 that the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India which then came into force on 26 th January The quote with which I commenced this edition of the Chairman s communiqué, are the words of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar the architect of the Indian Constitution. The Branch along with other branches of ICAI celebrated this day with a pledge taking ceremony organised at the Branch. Meanwhile the other activities at the branch continue unabated. As we do every month, we endeavour to bring forth a pictorial representation of the highlights of the activities at the Branch in the following pages. The branch is always listening for inputs and constructive feedback on meeting requirements of Members and students alike. We have received requests at the Branch to conduct specific certification courses (Concurrent Audit, Valuation, GST etc). Since these are organised under specific committees of the ICAI we would request Members having interest in such courses to kindly approach the branch. We can then ascertain whether we can muster up the necessary participation and place a request for the courses. I would also request members to come forth and participate in the activities of the Branch both for Members and students. The Branch seeks greater participation of the Members as faculties for various subjects for lecture meeting and conferences as well as resource persons for Management and Communication Skills and ICITSS programs for CA students.
