2 *Eligibility Conditions: (2) (i) Detailed eligibility conditions, etc. are as given in the Ordinance for the D. A. V. COLLEGE MUZAFFARNAGAR STUDENTS UNION ELECTION (available at college website and with the election commissioner). (ii) All bonafide students of the session of the full time courses being run in the college under UGC 2 (f) and 12(b) are eligible to vote and contest in the elections provided they have paid all the fees and other dues that are due to them upto June 2013 and possess a valid Identity Card. (iii) Students belonging to other Courses are not eligible to participate in the elections, and will not be permitted to either contest or vote in the elections. Bank Draft: Along with nomination form a bank Draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of the Principal, D.A.V. College, Muzaffarnagar be submitted as security fee. 3 Requirements for the Nomination 1. A candidate has to submit an Affidavit on a non judicial stamp paper stating that he/she is not barred from contesting elections as per provisions laid down in section 13.7 of the Ordinance for the D. A. V. COLLEGE MUZAFFARNAGAR STUDENTS UNION ELECTION and that if on subsequent verification, even after withdrawal/election, he/she is judged as ineligible to contest the election his candidature/election shall be declared as invalid/null and void. 2. Nomination form duly filled with a passport size photograph affixed and attested by self. 3. A bank draft for Rs. 250/= in favour of Principal, D.A.V. College, Muzaffarnagar as security deposit which shall be forfeited if a candidates fails to secure less than 10% of the total valid votes for the post. The candidate has to write, on the reverse of the Bank Draft, his name and the post for which he/she is filing nomination. 4. Photocopies of high school certificate for date of birth and all other examinations for academic performance duly attested by self. 5. Originals of all the certificates/marksheets attached with reference to above clause (4). 6. Photocopies of the admission fee deposit receipt, student union membership fee receipt and Identity Card issued for the academic session of the student filing nomination. 7. Photocopies of the Identity card, student union membership fee receipt & admission fee deposit receipt for the academic session of the proposer and seconder. 8. In case candidate being a research scholar, a certificate of the supervisor that you are a full time research scholar for the year (Candidates who have submitted their thesis shall not be considered for member of students union (Proforma-1). 9. The certificate of the chief Proctor (Proforma-2). 10. Receipt of nomination paper (Proforma-3).
